It just looks a penalty to me. The lad isn’t in control of the situation when shielding/shouldering the ball. Clumsy enough for a pen IMO.

I think it’s a clumsy shove from their player on Wells, so I wouldn’t say it’s soft at all. The Sheff Utd lad runs right across Wells, shoves him away whilst unbalanced and falls over. It was more than your average shoulder to shoulder IMO.

The main issue I’ve noticed is that we rarely attack centrally. We lack midfield runners, so the ball will go out wide to Jay or Sykes, they will do a little turn and put in a 50/50 cross. It’s a real shame as we’re really good to watch on the whole. Just need to find that savvy end product

Hate to say it but Sheff did a job on us. The officials were poor and inconsistent but this is the exact sort of game where we come up short and it’s happened again. The experience and physicality lacking.
