I think s82 and that corner section in general do a lot to try and get and atmosphere despite being hamstrung by being stuck in that area. However, I also think that the crowd should mirror what is happening on the pitch. It’s no good trying to be clever trying to get a chant going that only a handful know the words to when we are chasing a game. There is a time and a place for trialling new songs and in my opinion that’s when we are well in control of the game, much like you’d expect your flair players to do the same. When we’re behind or if the game is tight, get back to basics, sing the songs that everyone knows even if they are generic. Give everyone the chance to get involved.

It’s an educated guess. -

Roberts would have had to come off on 60 minutes, that would have been agreed with the medical staff before the game had started. So who you bringing on to keep it a back 4 in place of Roberts? -

Who would you have brought on to play at left back on the hour mark? -

Because this was Robert’s first game back from fitness, maybe? 60 minutes is pretty standard for a first game back. -

VAR was used at the Olympic Stadium. -
The new estates in South Glos will most likely end up much like Bradley Stoke, full of City.

Did he? I thought he looked well disciplined when he didn’t have the ball but when in possession, looked a bit like Bambi on ice. Still very raw which is natural given his age but he was definitely not ready for first team appearances.

The amount of safe standing capacity that we currently have.

Max Bird Signed (& loaned back to Derby) - CONFIRMED

6 goals and ZERO clean sheets as goalkeeper, it’s almost like we’re buying a deep sitting midfielder. -

I guess leaving things for a committee to sort out can leave a bad taste sometimes and better working relationships can be found when making deals. -

Does academy status not come into it then? Always thought that’s why we were shafted a bit when Maddox went to Chelsea & Kane went to Liverpool. -

Plausable. He’s been with them since he was 10, amount of games played plus Derbys category a academy status. -

You’re looking at it the wrong way. Max Bird could have ran his contract down and took a bigger signing on fee in the summer. Instead he’s committed himself to Bristol City. -

That would depend on the fee. If we have paid around £1.5m then it wouldn’t be much less in the summer. -

I don't mean to sound like a broken record but we wouldn’t have been paying nothing in the summer. -

We wouldn’t have got him for free in the summer. I’d be taking the £2.5m rumours with a huge pinch of salt. -
Max Bird Signed (& loaned back to Derby) - CONFIRMED

The best way to look at it is, we’ve identified Max Bird to be Matty James’ successor, succession planning is good and something that should be praised. Derby were happy to risk waiting for the summer when they would have received a decent compensation package. We wouldn’t have been able to get the deal without the loan back being included so rather than risk losing someone that we clearly rate to a rival in the summer we’ve done a deal that suits both us and Derby. Had MB gone elsewhere in the summer, we could have ended up having to fork out more trying to get someone else to replace MJ. -

We wouldn’t be getting him for nothing in the summer. The amount of games he’s played already, Derby would have been due a hefty compensation sum. -

Smart recruiting, getting in ahead of everyone else in the summer. -
They were checking tickets but as with anything there are work arounds.

There and section 82. There’s definitely a lot in there who have season tickets in other parts of the South Stand.

Forest Replay: Ticket Details Announced 🎟️

A Forest fan in one of the group chats I’m in seems to think this is a SAG/police decision. 2800 was all Blackpool were offered in round 3 as well. -
Forest Replay: Ticket Details Announced 🎟️

That will because City decided to charge £10 for season ticket holders to attend while Forest have decided on £17, it’s as simple as that.
