I see the SAG's have agreed to take their first team to Melksham again for a pre-season friendly. Levels are similar.
Its a fund raiser for the lesser team, they are raising funds for Rovers new stand!

I know the Gash fans aren't prone to exaggeration, but where did he get an uptake of 3500 extra seats? According to the official statement, Wael suggested an extra 2500 seats (https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-rovers-new-south-stand-8398066)
The above estimates also rely on a sell out each home match to bring in the additional revenue.
Aside from that, it all makes sense
He wasnt wrong though.....................that really is some rough maths!

I said at the time that Fonts needed to be out of the team for a while, his confidence was shot.

Crazy to think we’ve got it so right at left back and so wrong at right back. Think I’ve seen us with 2 truly decent ones. Orr and Little with the latter mostly being decent during the double winning side. Other than that we’ve just not had that consistent performer. HOWEVER… Tanner is growing very well there. Shame Wilson hasn’t had an impact. Pring has just been excellent, made the position his own now.
I always thought Louis Carey did well at right back, especially with Murray on the right wing!

Did he include the fact that it was a Bolton team who made 8 changes, and still beat them?
No he appeared to have missed that bit out!

I was out with my dogs earlier and there was a Gashead parked up in his car talking on the phone, his conversation went like this "we were by far the better side and didnt deserve to lose the game,Bolton were poor.Bolton have no chance in the playoffs but the other three sides that are also in the playoffs were not very good sides either!"He then went on to say that when their new stand is built ready for next season they will attract fans back that have gone to Ashton Gate.He also mentioned that they would be pushing for top two next season going by how teams played against them this season!!Anyway i had enough of listening to his bullsh!t told him he was typical gas and deluded to which he replied f@@k off sh!thead and enjoy your relegation next season!!
they certainly are a weird bunch

I wouldn't have thought O'Neills would want to jeopardize the contract they have with us by pulling a trick like that.
I was thinking more along the lines of an employee

Unlikely I'd have thought. Someone suggested to me that it might be connected to the far-right "prankster" Burnley fan who arranged to fly a "white lives matter" banner over the Etihad when Burnley were playing there.
Fair enough!

So they are calling themselves "little old Rovers"now are they?what happened to them being the biggest club in Bristol? They really do leave themselves wide open for abuse dont they!!

Speaking after his defeat, Barton questioned the playing style of Moore’s team, claiming that if they and their previous opponents Derby County were ‘anything to go by’, Rovers would be able to bridge the gap and make the League One playoffs next season.
And thats going on the fact that they didnt beat Derby or Wednesday............"Gas logic"
