  1. It looks like there's still 300ish tickets available for next Wednesday at Ashton Gate if anyone fancies it, maybe they've released more since announcing it's sold out
  2. Others have already mentioned that Stroud had a decent game so won’t go into that, but also as infuriating as it is I also don’t think there was a strong case for more than 4 minutes being added. 30 secs for Wells sub 30 secs for Sykes and Bell double sub 2 mins for keeper being down during which the only Wigan sub in the 2nd half was made so wouldn’t get another 30 secs 1 min for time wasting - only contentious one but tbh consistent with the rest of the league Plus the already mentioned additional time on top of the 4 for the incident in the corner at the start of stoppage time So, annoying yes but I think we’d struggle to make a case to justify anymore than 4 being added.
  3. Played 3 matches for City according to this below https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-victory-sends-bristol-city-a-point-clear-1153803.html
  4. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/atyeo-tickets-on-sale-for-home-leg/ Yep they did go on general sale, they initially released the final remaining tickets for general sale in SS, Dolman and Lansdown and then released another 1000 for general sale in Atyeo
  5. No they don't sell them outside the ground anymore but they do still put a programme together for every game and distribute it digitally for free. e.g. here's the one for Wigan tonight which was made available this afternoon - https://robinstv.bcfc.co.uk/digital-matchday-programme/
  6. How can these two sentences be compatible next to each other? Having permanent teams that get to play regardless of merit is 'closing the shop' surely, letting a few guests in doesn't change that, especially when those 9 teams effectively get to decide who those guests are
  7. Ahh that's a pain. Email might be worth a shot, they've generally been quite quick to respond on there in the past and might be a bit less impacted than phone lines (maybe, no guarantees)
  8. Phone sales for the Man City game opened at 10am this morning so that's not surprising, think you might need to just call up, go do something else for an hour then come back to see where you are in the queue
  9. https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/weimann-new-club-captain/ New club captain after Bentley's departure (not surprising)
  10. Likewise Sunderland and Luton aren't showing for me as having attended, must be a wider issue with those 2 games
  11. It doesn't look like we're able to spend the points for discounts on whatever we like from the store as was the case before, is that right?
  12. Not sure about an interview but have just spotted this on his Wiki page ?
  13. Boro v Blackpool looks to be the international 3pm broadcast so won't be that, hopefully just a temporary thing and the game will appear on Robins TV eventually
  14. *three times, FA Cup semi-finals are played at Wembley as well
  15. I might be misunderstanding your point but isn't this exactly the reason why we should be allowed to be excited to play a top 6 team, given that we're not good enough to play them regularly? The whole idea of any sport is to take on and try to beat the best out there, and when those chances are few and far between like they are for us then surely your relish that opportunity as a whole club
  16. This might well mean EFL will be off as well...
  17. When I did a refereeing training course a few years back, the guidance we were given is that as long as the keeper is moving forward with the ball in their hands then that time is excluded, and the 6 second law only applies once the keeper is stationary near the edge of the box. As a result they can spend 30 seconds slowly walking from one corner of the box to the other, then stand still for 5 seconds before releasing the ball and not fall foul of the 6 second law.
  18. Champions League is introducing semi-automated offsides in every game starting tonight, which will eliminate the manual task of drawing lines etc. and should therefore make it perfectly consistent across all games. The tech has been developed by HawkEye so I have high hopes that it will work as it's intended to, will be interesting to see what impact it does have. Prem have already said they'll look to introduce the system next year if it goes well in the CL and World Cup later this year.
  19. Based on our game v Huddersfield last week where he was the ref, paired with last nights showing, he seems like one of the very few decent ones in the league.
  20. Champ rather than Prem, but even Goal Line Technology has failed this weekend https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/12690052/was-the-ball-over-the-line-huddersfield-controversially-denied-goal
  21. I assume you're thinking of Tom Heaton the goalkeeper as opposed to Paul Heaton being referred to above. If so, the keeper has been at Man United since the start of last season. Has only made one appearance for them, which happened to be in the Champions League.

I believe there might also be some rules around players that have come off as a result of concussion being mandated to miss the next game. Not sure what the rule is exactly but that would deter anything like that
  23. Great job on putting together the graph and highlighting the stat, it's been a good source of discussion on here today as you can see! Good to see you join the forum as well. As for your latest Tweet, well that's just getting more and more incredible.
