I hear that old bore - Warnock is on our forum again? Why? He has failed and walked away from, more clubs than any manager in history. Obviously, when paid by 23, 24, 25 clubs whatever it is, he will have won over some fans but not many..and certainly not me.
And still the old bores about 'Nige' continue on here. Go back to Aug last last year when he promised us a team for promotion, look at his record outside of Leicester and then come to conclude these old boys may have had their year and multiple wages but they just aint the gravy any more.
Our current man(ning) probably isnt either but occasional readers of our forum have remarked how the same old stories just get re-circulated.
Manning is our coach, Tinman is our (super) academy leader and the Lansdowns own the club - none of this is news either. Let's start some current topics FFS and let the dark ages of Warnock's failed job interview with SL and Pearson's lies in 2021/22/23 all be water under the bridge.
In a league with so many of his former employers — he has managed Hull, Leicester, Southampton and Watford, coached Stoke and West Brom, and played for Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday — Pearson believes Bristol City have a squad capable of competing for promotion.

Anybody know what the open area is for between upper & lower tiers?

Our final balls from really good positions yesterday were woeful, also poor decision making when deciding to shoot or cross…. Worst one was Knight shorting with Bell completely free in the middle.

If we are just looking to free up wages, could we just not move on Jon Lansdown?

Maybe it’s the players who underachieved then…
Far too negative when we were 1-0 up in the final, don’t think that was down to the players

Even though they are covering our fave topic, it's pretty hard to fill a weekly hour long show with content.
And I personally have zero interest in the women's team, so I do the same as Eardun.... listen another time and fast forward through the bits that don't interest me.

Just saw the highlights, his tackle to win the ball back for the first goal was impressive.

The gushing from sky over Southampton , Leicester & Leeds will be excruciating this season. Russell Martin reminds me of LJ in terms of character .
He does seem to come across as one who loves all the attention.

221 not out with 71% strike rate, not bad.
Not everyone can go at over a run a ball.

Some of the big clubs do have good ones for sure, guess they are going to sell plenty.
Really like the old school plain ones like the Arsenal yellow 1971 double winning shirt.- 3

Barbados? Going again in August. Can’t wait.
Yep, got back late yesterday, love it there… we always stay on Dover Beach in the Gap.
Get tired of the Banks & Rum after a week though, really looking forward to a Thatchers Dry.

Always admire any sportsperson who takes the option to play in another country, but especially in his case to have done it at such a young age.
Really challenging himself, what fantastic life experience.

Very sad RIP Gordon

Don’t buy kits anymore, but both look really rubbish and cheap, shame as last years Hummel kits looked great especially the away and third kit.
Maybe they’ll redeem themselves with this years away kit.

No disrespect, but is Bellingham 3 and 1/2 times better that Scott?
Agree with this, Bellingham has everything… Scott a fantastic talent but dead ball delivery and finishing pretty poor at present IMO

He's definitely smaller in stature than your conventional CB (if played there) although has got a deceptively good leap. If played at LB/LWB he seems to win more headers.

Atkinson said in his interview last week when he signed his new deal that his injury was a “7 to 9 month one” which means he’s not going to be back much before November at the very earliest.
Agree with lots of the rest, the decision on whether we keep Kalas or not will determine whether we bring in 1 CB or 2, McCrorie seems highly likely to arrive but no one really knows if we see him as a RB, RM, CB or DM, the answer to which will become clearer based on our other signings.
Aside from up front (where we won’t be signing Ashley bloody Barnes), you could make a good case for adding someone in every area, but I doubt we will.
Where does the Ashley Barnes rumour come from, somebody mentioned to me on Sat that this was a possibility. Surely we don’t need another older forward player.
