  1. Stop being so bloody reasonable. The internet wasn't invented for such behaviour and it gives people entirely the wrong idea about the Blue Few.
  2. Splendid result. Cheerio carrot crunchers!
  3. Set us up nicely? We'd get paid more money for finishing last than their nillionaire owner is worth. Fact!
  4. That might be too subtle for the Dopey Few, JR.
  5. Come on lads, Rome wasn't built in a day!! Or Barcelona! I can hear them on Saturday now, apeing that Spurs chant at Stoke, "Bristol City - we're coming for you"
  6. Couldn't agree more. While we're all relieved at the improvement since Cotterill left, we're still a million miles from being a serious team in this division. We still will be should we sign all our current loanees permanently in the summer. We all know that ain't happening, though, and if the addition of Matthews and Tomlin (for instance) is outnumbered by lower league arrivals such as Hammill, Gilbey and Cummings, our owner's talk of a top 6 challenge next season will be yet more pie in the sky baloney.
  7. Was in there after the game - there was "trouble" - but nothing got smashed up. Yawn. Next!
  8. Personally, I think we'll find out next season - and the gAssholes won't need the Playoffs either. Just my gut feeling. What is certain, if they are promoted, is that they'll be giving it the big one all summer - oblivious to the idea that their achievements and ours since we were last in the same division (or indeed since time immemorial) are somehow comparable is so wie of the mark as to be laughable, pitiful, deluded and factually incorrect. But that describes gAssholes very well, doesn't it - laughable, pitiful, deluded. And that's just for starters.
  9. Facts such as what... that we lost a game in a division you haven't been in for a quarter of a century???? against a team of current internationals/ex Prem players??while you're still in the Fourth Division having mustered no more points than Accrington Stanley??? With all due respect, you being a reasonable, moderate Cameltoe, compared to most of your Cameltoe brethern who are rather too jihadi, fundamentalist for our liking. Or just mental, quite frankly. Cameltoe.
  10. There's more than enough self-awareness hereabouts. Taking the piss out of your tinpot, deluded, itinerant rivals and acknowledgement we should be doing better are not mutually exclusive.
  11. Post more often please, as this is not only funny but factually undeniable - not that it'll stop the c**** trying. In fact, why not post it on their c***chat forum or whatever it's called and watch as they fall over themselves in ignorant indignation. One Team. Always has been for over 100 years (even during their "heyday" of the 50s - such as it was - they managed to beat us just 4 times in 17 attempts).
  12. Interesting, Bert. Is it the swagger of a confident man or the last hurrah of a dead man walking?
  13. No would be my guess because Barnsley's statement explaining they had given Johnson permission to speak with City made it clear they have a head coach set up and Cotterill is the polar opposite, being an old school manager. Something which contributed to his down fall at City.
  14. Bristol Rugby use Clifton RFC as a nursery for some of their up and coming players - it helps the development of their promising youngsters for Clifton to be playing at the highest, most competitive level possible Clifton RFC is also where Bristol Rugby do all their training and have all their administrative operations. For these two reasons, I got the distinct impression Bristol Sport were fully behind (materially or otherwise, who knows) Clifton's plans to upgrade their Cribbs base. And for that reason I don't think Clifton RFC is an option for the Blue Few. Just my gut instinct, don't know anything for def. PS. From memory when these plans were in announced in the EPost I think Clifton's upgraded ground had a capacity of approx 5,000. Which would actually mean the gAss downsizing!!
  15. Yes indeed, Salisbury - that's where I saw him watching the Saints on TV. I couldn't see the screen for love nor money behind that bloody hat. Does he ever take it of???
  16. Annoyingly, it is. Fair play today. See you at The Gate for 11 v 11. btw Rich - why do you use an avatar of a Southampton fan?
