I was thinking during the match how well he's been doing lately and not really seen any bad posts about him. Seems the coaching staff has given belief and confidence.

Add in Weimann and that's a very high pressing front line which will help the defence

I said on another thread a few weeks ago that with him taking set pieces we'd score a fair few from them.

Said this last week. Need a change and quick. Must have an impact on defenders confidence knowing you don't have a keeper that can't deal with crosses as well as he should.

A more dominant keeper would've claimed that like so many crosses that come into our box

It's a big improvement on the previous facilities which helps with new players and potential new owners. Maybe he didn't want to put loads of his money into it but enough to make a good impression. Is there room for potential expansion/upgrade if we get to the Premier league?

I've made my feelings known about him for a couple of years now. There's a reason why Brentford let him go. We've leaked goals constantly since he's been here despite changes in the back like, time for a new No1 long overdue. His only real competition has been Max who isn't really championship quality. Maenpaa was way better and shame be got injured.

I was thinking the other about other clubs who have had very mixed ups and downs in the time SL has been at the club. As fans would we be happy if city had a similar recent history to the likes of Bolton, Wigan, maybe Bradford, Blackpool etc who have been in the Premiership, won the FA Cup like Wigan, had a season in Europe like a couple of them but then collapsed and on the brink while we've been fairly stable in the 2 leagues?

I think we'll score quite a lot from set pieces this season with him taking them.

Yeah but these guys are on thousands a week so thought the club would make them , and it can only take a little fall or a car to hit them to cause some serious injury.

We played the best without Diedhiou when he was injured. When he came back we lost the high press and fast slick passing. But not sure how long Patterson and Reid could've kept up their game as the season went on.

Plus the 5m+ for Diedhiou, couple of million on Nagy . Big lose on just 4 players in a year or so
