Wasn't Carey on the pitch for the first goal?
Both sounded all too easy for Rhodes.
Yup. However, the commentary made it sound like Rhodes almost brushed Wilson aside - no doubt Carey may have put up a little more of a fight.

oh we are losing by two... useless player.. bollox.
1) James Wilson or
2) BCFC Player or
3) Both?!
-
CAREY WE WANT YOU BACK! PLEASE DON'T BE TOO INJURED!!
I'm sorry, Wilson is dire - absolutely dire. I haven't heard, or seen, him have a good game in maybe his entire time playing for City.
Still plenty of games to go. #COYR!!! -
Stead for Davies... trying to get Baldock into it more, I guess.
On another note, BLACKPOOL'S KEEPER HAS BEEN SENT OFF...AHHHHHH!
AND NOW WE'RE LOSING EVEN MORE AHHHHHHHHH FFS. -
Wolves 4th bottom as it stands!
IMO: P'Boro, us, Barnsley, Wolves, Ipswich, Wednesday, Bolton, Huddersfield and even B'ham aren't safe yet - plenty of teams still in the dog fight and plenty of games to go!
-
Albie's been taken off.
-
Birmingham, Ipswich, SheffWed and Barnsley all winning + us losing = not good!
However, think it's a bit ludicrous for people to be saying "that's us as good as down".
One nil down, against a team that quite frankly, sound pretty dire. As AB is saying, just no end product from us atm.
We were 1-0 against Ipswich!
Always believe - COYR!

P'Boro losing but SheWed winning - Lita!

Credit to BBRB, a good little montage of City's past seven days! COYR!!

Bristol City: Heaton, Moloney, Carey, Fontaine, Cunningham, Kelly, Skuse, Pearson, Anderson, Davies, Baldock
I'm thick at times, but not that thick!
-
Baldock and Davies together hurrah....when was the last time these two started a game together?
Feeling really good about today
Tuesday......
-
Probably the best team we've got with the players available. Good to see the 2 boys on the bench as well.
Agreed. And, if Elliott and Pearson can play like they did on Tuesday, there should be no need to moan about them etiher.

Cole Skuse ruled out with knee injury. Expected to need an injection when swelling settles down. "Not too serious," says SO'D

#BristolCity Subs - Gerken, Foster, J.Wilson, Nyatanga, Reid, Stead, Burns. -
#BristolCity v Blackburn - Heaton; Moloney, Carey, Fontaine, Cunningham, Kelly, Elliott, Pearson, Anderson, Baldock, Davies.Chuffed with that team! Not one negative to say.

Best team selection ALL season imo. Ignore Pearson and I think that's currently our strongest side. COYR!!

Didn't we finish 3rd that season and reach a play off final?
[i remember walking out of the Millenium Stadium that day, a lone fan started chanting "Wilson Wilson Wilson, Out Out Out" and then a chorus of fans, literally hundreds, singing Walking In A Wilson Wonderland! ... and the rest is history!
Irrelevant point, but anyway!]

Or McInnes might turn it around.
I know he has plenty of time and the results should be better by now, but things can change round quickly if he can get it right. I seem to remember N. Clough struggling for a long time at Derby but they looked a tidy side today and he turned it around.
Can Del do the same? I'm not sure but I like some of the things he has done (Davies, Baldock and Cunningham). But then I'm baffled why he still rates Foster, Pearson and Fontaine. Also why does he not give Paul Anderson a start?
I generally think this sums up what a lot of fans are thinking. Especially me.

Just noticed this little gem from the website. Apparently the report was written before the match had started! Ah well, bigger things to complain about in life than that, eh, ChrisBCFC?!
Report: Bristol City 1-1 Blackpool3 hours 35 mins ago.

If there's a positive to take from today, it sounds like Fontaine has, again, had a solid game.
Palace now winning!
