That Crewe game was the one when John Ward went into the Atyeo corner and then along the walkway of the Dolman before the game shaking hands with fans and asking for support.
Remember it well as I was one of them.
It certainly worked in that game, the City team and fans inspired by Colin Cramb from the first minute irrc., but of course he was sacked about a month later.
I thought that was a Friday night home to Bolton when wardy came into the Atyeo next day he was gone

Absolutely I have had about 5/6 different games with ticket on my phone , all I do is expand the bar code and bingo no problem

Possibly 2020/2021 then... instead of Pearson or Holden. If we gave up the chance to sign Warnock by opting for the cheap option that would have been the worst decision ever.
He had a rye smile as I said I was a friendly Bristol city fan , he was off to Leeds from Plymouth

I met him a few weeks ago on a train going to Leeds he said he almost got the job a few years ago really nice bloke

The problem I see is the end of the season we will see lots of players leave and lots arrive I don’t have confidence in Nigel and the recruitment team to bring in players needed , the players he has brought to the club overall has been pretty disappointing

I was there last night and one thing people haven’t mentioned is what he said about black managers and coaches in the game , he mentioned this when asked about Jason Ewell being employed if people want to slag him off okay fine but we also we need to praise him for his positive position on black managers etc role models in the game even though he says Curtis Fleming never shuts up that got people laughing , i asked the question about why we are poor against physical teams thank god I don’t ask him questions ever week poor reporters

I know this may seem far fetched but I actually work with Kanes dad , speaking to him the other week he said he has been doing really well in training and just got to wait his chance, obviously a bit frustrated as last season played over 40 matches for FGR
-
Excellent tonight the only small issue he just has to be a bit more understanding of things around him second half he had a great situation just to pass to make it 2-0 but chose to shoot and the chance went begging but a brilliant player on his day

As above police may intervene but last seasons home fixture was played on a Friday night and previously it has been Saturday’s for as long as I can recall so don’t think it’s seen as particularly high risk.
Not particularly high risk , Christ you must of missed the away game last season it like a war zone fights everywhere

I just look at the Brighton model they keep selling all there best players for millions and keep replacing them , totally trust Pearson to do the same he is doing a great job

It’s the thought that on Tuesday against Luton we are going to get battered with there 2 massive centre forwards , we are just too nice to play against and have for years oh for a Shaun Taylor in defence and a wilbs up front

Good point. Clubs need to have better trained/ paid. Stewards. And remembering that the club are required to pay for policing always strikes me higher policing levels in grounds would control these situations better than stewards . But often stewards and police stand back not engaging the situations for too long . Not easy for the club's and certainly will incur costs. But has to be dealt with soon
This sort of behaviour happens most weeks on public transport after the games , I reckon clubs for security on trains after fans are awful
-
I posted the other week , as a railway employee this sort of behaviour ie anti social happens every week with football fans smashing up carriages etc hopefully a long stretch will be given to this idiot
