  1. Each to their own etc but that’s one of my favourite tops for years.
  2. O’Neills were confirmed as the new supplier at the Senior Reds lunch with SL last Thursday. SL also wants to see the return of a printed program rather than just a digital version.
  3. THE voice of football for me. RIP.
  4. The tweet from sky has since been deleted so maybe even they got confused!
  5. The bars ARE doing season ticket discount
  6. Let's have it right - the less hands-on either Steve or Jon Lansdown are, the better, yeah?
  7. Yes - that is still there - although the Bell further down Prewett St has long since been left to rot away.
  8. Pretty sure I heard it was due to be demolished - would probably fit in with the redevelopment (ie building more expensive flats) of the Phoenix Wharf, where the Matthew was built. Only ever been in there once, it might be a bit rough & ready but the drinks are very reasonably priced
  9. guess so - unless it's just too much to turn around that quickly?
  10. Guy up the road from me in BS3 gets 3 cars on his drive at £20 a pop every City/Bears game. He is raking it in. It's a proper cottage industry round here, no doubt about that!
  11. I had the email from the club to buy tickets on the 8th November. Maybe by Christmas they'd sold out?
  12. Surely they must "hire" the ground? But either way it is great exposure for Bristol & AG and what we can offer
  13. Or - "how can we ensure that residents of the immediate area around the ground can actually park near their own homes" This is the biggest issue with the redevelopment of the "Sporting Quarter" for locals TBH
  14. A busy and expensive couple of weeks in BS3 beckon with: SOLD OUT WEDNESDAY 22nd FEBRUARY- Lionesses v. Belgium as the 2nd game in the Arnold Clark Cup (7.45pm ko) https://www.bristol-sport.co.uk/news/gate-guide-arnold-clark-cup-february-22nd/ SATURDAY 25th FEBRUARY - City v. 15. I said this on the other thread about it. Would make perfect sense.
  16. As far as I’m aware, the entire footprint is private property but public access is granted whenever there isn’t an event on. There’s a sign on the Raynes Rd entrance giving the legal spiel if - I can be arsed to walk around the corner I’ll post a pic of it.
  17. Maybe getting some practise in before stricter restrictions for the Man City game?
  18. Ha ha I made exactly this point on whatsapp about 10 mins ago. Have they ever been seen in the same room together?
  19. We’d been after him for about the previous 4 seasons. By the time we finally signed him he was past it (that’s my recollection anyway!)
  20. Bears been going big on the twitter today with some of the best players of the last 30 or so years I guess, some great highlights & names from the past
