Will he mention his time here? Could be worth a listen, amazing to think we binned him off and he's now top scorer.
On the basis he only played 4 games for us, he'd do well to remember a game he played for us
2 minutes ago, Swede said:Rather than many with rose tinted glasses pining for him & thinking we messed up by letting him go, he didn't exactly set the world alight when he was here and rather it was an opportunity HE missed.
Good luck to him, sometimes it just doesn't work out. I would like to think that he used the disappointing experience he gained here to re double his efforts elsewhere. It certainly should make for a lucrative transfer for him this summer.
Exactly this, I am amazed so many don't realise he was a different player when passing through

How do we dial in Phants ?
Shahan always shares the details on here prior to each meeting
They are the first Wednesday of the month (unless we are playing that night)

I believe you mean a firestick? But a special one?
Or even easier an actual smart TV?
PS You don't need a "special" stick or chipped paid for firestick to view anymore either

Anyone that wants to get a decent position I'd advise leaving the game at least 5-10 mins early.
I wouldn't bother rushing, due to the lack of an end of season awards evening the club have so far not mentioned that after the game there will be all the awards that we've been voting on being presented
Then the players will walk around the pitch, once everyone is outside The Wurzels will start in the fan village
They won't be on stage for a long while
Additionally I'm not sure if there's anything to see on stage, make sure you're near a bar / toilet

SL was at the game on Saturday.
Steve and Jon have been at a number of games recently

Sorry to be pedantic but you could renew the morning of the first home game and still renew in time

Can recall my mates dad saying Weston had a rather large skinhead gang in those days, and they chased the Bristol skins out of Weston once!
Bank holiday on the sea front used to be carnage
There is a YouTube video of footage back then, typically I can't find it to link

Phantom, are you a genius? Let me ask another question. Does the fact there is so much football on TV every night make you more or less excited about watching City's one or two games a week live? Answers like Robbored and 22A are different but offer their opinions, whereas yours.....
I have no interest in any other team than us, I couldn't care less who is on or not and how often
No need to worry about what everyone else is doing

The top 4 still trying to sort Automatic positions is quite interesting even though i dont like any of them, especially Leeds. Looking at Championship saturation as a pre-match discussion yesterday, a mate pointed out what dates coming up had football in our league on offer;
20th 21st 22nd 23rd 24th 26th 27th 29th 30th. Do you like to follow Championship football (nearly) every day or is it getting too much?
Simple answer is watch a different channel

I don't think Lauren being here next season was 'leaked info'. Didn't it come from an interview where it was mentioned that she had signed a new deal?
If you mean this, it's from last October
https://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/smith-signs-new-long-term-deal/
I'm amazed after this season that her position isn't under threat
The way it was said in comms was like she'd received some recent update

Did anyone else notice when the game went into injury time how behind Fran Bentleys goal loads of kids appeared with those begging signs for shirts?
Next shot of that area showed the stewards moving them all along lol

Don’t be so sure about this

Finally the final whistle. An end to that game and one which we realistically didn't have a chance with. Still a hard pill to swallow, but not unexpected, sadly. Amongst other stats to ponder over, the attendance was 3,500 (perhaps a late Sunday game has had some effect, but I suspect a lowly turnout by Gunner's standards. With West Ham picking up another point the gap is widening still further.
I'd imagine the fact their first team played earlier may have had an impact, but that ground has a capacity of 4,500 so not much short

Sadly, it's down to 3 things. The coaching and tactics have made it very hard to get results. I can't see LS learning a great deal from this and rebuilding next season. I would get a new coach. The players are simply not good enough for WPL. When you come up against seasoned internationals every week then it's tough. This leads on to the final point. Investment, recruitment and development. If Bristol Sport is serious about a WPL team then it will cost.
See my post below.
Comms on Sky / FA Player have seemingly leaked information in the past
To me it needs a clean sweep, if nothing else to change the losing mentally. It must be difficult to keep going every week knowing you are on a different level to the opposition, and with our remaining fixtures our goal difference is going to take a real hammering
1 hour ago, phantom said:Interesting on Sky comms they mentioned Lauren can relax as she knows whatever happens this season she'll be in charge next season

The games I’ve watched we defend as 3 units, and each unit is disconnected and easy to play through. We knacker ourselves by not having any compactness, and are constantly doing doggies to close the ball down.
Exactly that, and to compound the problem we never pick up anyone, it's like they're fixed to a position somewhere on the pitch and have to stay there

Were you at the England West Germany game where Andy Cole scored a brace ? 1986 I think.
Said that day he’d be a top player and he didn’t do badly
Pretty sure I would have been
My school did trips to all the games back then
....
Sky just reported that Arsenal had 44 touches in our penalty area in the first half. That's a WSL record

I'm trying to watch this, but it's proving impossible to enjoy. 3-0 34mins.
Respect to those people who follow the side every week, it must be a very difficult watch
Being on TV against Manchester City and Chelsea in the coming weeks the broadcasters clearly won't be getting a great game. Just one side trying to defend and the other scoring at will

Spotted Mark Shail before the game as well. Not sure of there was a reason he was there too?
He's been to a few games he's usually in the former players area before a game

Just posting my thoughts Phants.
In the press conferences and interviews a lot was said about our academy and how Liam had coached in academies and how this made him well suited to the job.
The post I replied to gave two examples of him speaking about academies in his first press conferences so that very much gives the impression he also said these things in the interview.
Thank you for clarifying
