  1. The stakes have now got even higher to stay in the WSL
  2. The more I watch the more I'm convinced our front players can't play together. They always seem on completely different wavelengths and rarely pass to each other. It's a shame because they are individually very decent
  3. He was marking a game at the time he felt unwell. Hopefully no more than a blip with his diabetes and nothing more serious, but something has clearly been wrong with him for a while. On a side note it was nice to see Peter Wright win yesterday's competition without all his silly hair colours etc
  4. Out of interest where do you get these numbers from? Somerset had 6632 members last year and have already out sold this number for this year and always been around 6500-7000 Sadly not
  5. Somerset well in control of what is going on, all members will be admitted, sadly for others no CC games are going on general sale Was a bit peeved to see cheapest T20 tickets are £32. Glamorgan away looks a good shout at £10 a ticket though
  6. Tottenham and Birmingham both away next two Sundays
  7. Well, I bet nobody saw that scoreline coming. Credit to the side on keeping the scoreline down
  8. Hosting Manchester City tonight, sadly another hammering on the cards
  9. Kohli's face after dropping Buttler, priceless
  10. Interesting point, but Bristol Rovers, SGS etc surely couldn't invest more than we do? The WSL etc is very similar to what happened in Rugby Union, investment has massively changed and certain clubs have massively improved whilst a small handful have at best stood still. What surprises me most is there's real investment in the men's football, bears and flyers set ups but nothing major for the women. During the game today it mentioned top players transfer for about £200k so even mid table quality wouldn't seemingly be that great. I am intrigued to see what happens with Matt Beard at the end of the season, he's visibly improved the squad, and let's be honest we'd be down without a fight if he hadn't come aboard. Surely it's a massive backwards step letting him go? Finally the team should be proud and massively congratulated on making the final today
  11. Awful start, Purfield caught out out
  12. Ironic you say that as it is widely recognised that there are a number of VERY good goalkeepers in the WSL, Sophie Baggaley being one of those. I assume that you watch games?
  13. Of course you can have an opinion but the issue is you are comparing them to the mens league They are not in any mens league.
  14. Chelsea recently lost 2-1 at home to Brighton Not long ago we beat Brighton 3-0 Chelsea travel to Madrid for a champions league match Wednesday afternoon, so hopefully a bit of a tiring journey for them City will be buzzing confidence wise, fingers crossed..... Oh and after that City only have the small matter of playing Manchester City in the league
  15. This reply tells us everything we needed to know. You clearly don't understand. The real shame is that every now and then some genius appears on this thread talking rubbish Almost as ludicrous as comparing Serena Williams to Roger Federer
  16. I'd be amazed if she doesn't leave Our midfield has always struggled. Carla Humphrey puzzles me, she's a bit like David Noble was (naturally gifted two footed footballer), but she seems to spend the game chasing the ball without ever touching it much. Maybe needs to sit behind midfield and let her control the ball from there Just the same as the game at The Madeski earlier this season
  17. I wish the bloody commentary team would stop calling us "Bristol"
  18. Why do you believe that? ALL restrictions are over in June
