  1. Used to make a rather nice sausage and bacon roll, always had to have one when stopping in to Selco (while the office rang our office to sort out our credit limit normally!). Was his name Martin or am I getting confused?
  2. The crayons might make a bit of a mess of the screen, probably better using the back of a roll of leftover wallpaper.
  3. Had the same problem when I went to watch the womens team against Man Utd - 14k attendance and they had two turnstiles open. Tickets wouldn't load, so from then on all tickets are now screenshot and WhatsApp'd to my wife and girls before I've even left the house.
  4. I had the 6ft inflatable T-Rex in the East End, fresh in from New York that morning
  5. We drew 1-1 at home, lost 2-0 away I think.
  6. Has Liv done something to piss you off? I notice during and after every game that you have a real downer on her. You seem to have forgotten that a) she is a very young keeper and b) she wasn't even supposed to be here this season, was supposed to be out on loan but was called back to cover for injuries but is now keeping an experienced Haaland out of the team.
  7. I have a book in the loft (Bristol City: The Complete History of the Club) by Peter Godsiff, and Arthur Milton has signed his picture in the book. My Dad worked with him as a postman in the early eighties.
  8. Bound to be Micky, always floating around the pubs and sports clubs of L-Dub/Shire
  9. Any room in this team for Micky Tanner?
  10. My mistake, teach me to read a bit slower!
  11. And the sole win this season against West Ham
  12. Speaking with "someone" tonight who knows Manning and Hogg very well, said that it looks a done deal (said it was between Manning and Mousinho) and that Manning is exactly what City need at the moment. Couldn't praise his coaching attributes or the job he did/has done at MK and Oxford highly enough.
  13. I would have Williams here, solely for the fact I can't remember the last time we had a manager/head coach who was follically challenged and had a bit of the extremely light blond in his beard. Would certainly make me feel better about how I have aged anyway!
  14. Ol' Jonny-Boy is going to be in trouble with Daddy, he actually referred to the club as "their club" when speaking about the fans! "No Junior, it is not their club, its mine and I will do what I want with it!"
  15. Any Interested Party representations only apply to the current application. Therefore, anything that has already been submitted will be null and void once the application is withdrawn. Nothing to stop IPs from writing in again, saying that their previous reasons for support/objection still stand and attach their original rep.
  16. I would imagine (dealing with planning day-to-day as I do) that BCC as the LPA have advised that the application is likely to be rejected, and that with modification x,y and z it should go through, so the best thing is to withdraw and resubmit. That's normally the reason behind application withdrawals, I could be totally wrong though!
  17. Stick to the calendar Graham - whilst all the other bigwigs at work had team planners etc on the wall, Graham had the City calendar. Its why he's one of my favourite ex-bosses!
  18. Loved Chicago Rock, the crowd I went out with in the 90s always seemed to be celebrating a birthday each weekend, nothing to do with the fact that if you told the DJ in the little booth in the corner it was your birthday he gave you a free bottle of bubbly!
  19. I'm assuming these dhgate tops are the same ones you can buy from the markets in Turkey? We've not long got back from there, my eldest daughter got the Bayern Munich floral top (Oktoberfest edition) and my middle daughter got the Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Inter Miami tops. They ate all surprisingly good quality and it is actually quite hard to tell them apart from the real thing. Plus I managed to haggle them down to £30 for the four tops, so can't go wrong for £7.50 each!
  20. You'd be surprised Graham at the number of cases that come across my desk where the LPA have indicated that permission is likely be granted in their pre-application advice, only for the proposal to be turned down by either the planning department of the committee.
  21. Used to get the train on the Severn Beach line when I worked in Easton and lived in Avonmouth. It baffles me why they have felt the need to spend the amount they have done when there is a perfectly good station in Shire, less than 0.5 of a mile from the P&R.
  22. Can't take the credit for that one, I'm the poor sap that has to read through all of these when they go to appeal!
