Imo the last thing Manning wants is someone with a PL winners medal in the locker having any input whatsoever on coaching.

Things can get a bit skewed in one's head by a couple of particularly dismal performances - In reality our last nine (league & cup) 4 wins - 3 draws - 2 losses...... doesn't look too shabby on paper.

Should it happen?? - my feelings would be that the clowns at the top have gotten what they deserve - I'm sure what they would have to say in such an unfortunate event would be rather interesting & I'll be 'all ears!!!
