  1. Another win today. sorry Tomarse, you beat me to it
  2. I'm actually delighted that Reading got a tonking after last week - made a good day into a great one
  3. At least the extra time gives the person we heard dropping a pin an extra half hour or so to find it.
  4. To all decent Rovers fans and the decent Rovers fans that I know who have followed Rovers all their lives. I'm genuinely pleased for you. For my next door neighbour who is one of the most decent people I have ever met (even though he's a Rovers fan) I'm genuinely pleased for you. To the 4 over 50 fat Gas fackers who shouted abuse at me today from your car - I hope your car collapsed under your weight.
  5. gggggggggtttttttttttttttttffffffffffffffffffffiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
  6. I think a problem for Rovers now is that they are way too big for league 2 and every other team now sees the billionaires as a massive scalp. Presumably no celebratory pitch invasions and slide tackling of their own players today.
  7. IF, and it's a big IF, their away support is so much better than ours - what about their home support? They can't even fill those tents at home and we're selling out pretty much every home game having won only 2 at home all season
  8. 2770 there today - they must have travelled in massive numbers again
  9. Anything is possible Phil but there's a long way to go. It's what makes us love and sometimes hate the game. A couple of seasons ago when we were at the bottom of league 1 and you were looking comfortable in league 2 a Gas acquaintance was enjoying our struggles and said to me 'bring on the relegation'. I took it with a smile as it's all part and parcel of being a football fan. Anyway, sure enough, come the end of the season she got her relegation
  10. This thread has gone very quiet. They're having a few digs at us on Asschat. Don't know why they don't just concentrate on their own match today, not that I could find their result anywhere.
  11. I know we take the mick but that's pretty impressive, especially as tens of thousands would assume they would be locked out so wouldn't have travelled.
  12. No offence intended. Was slightly worse for wear when I posted! Actually agree with Mia that we should keep football rivalry away from the cricket.
  13. Just got home Was it a cracking evening? Yes Did the better team win? Yes Will I ever understand why a City fan would support Gloucester? No Should I have eaten something rather than drink cider after cider? Yes Did I 'Need to disappear to the toilet towards the end' when it was getting a bit close? Yes Did I return to give some stick to my Glos mates when we sealed the win? Yes Do I now need to check the internet to see what actually happened? Yes Somerset - La la la Somerset - La la la What a great evening and a great trouble free atmosphere.
  14. never too late bb, IF City can win a league in our lifetime then surely anything can be achieved
  15. I think as long as they know it stays at football no harm in them hearing (and secretly enjoying) a bit of colourful language. Had to turn slightly away from her to join in with a few of the chants myself. Sent her off to bed with a chorus of 'Your Support, your support, your support's.......not very loud!'
  16. Not long back. Nice comment from my 10 year old daughter - "Our fans told their fans they weren't very loud in a rather interesting way , didn't they Dad?"
  17. Looked immediately like a player from a higher level. Very impressed with him and actually felt confident of a clean sheet all afternoon.
