Morning
I’ve been to the Hawthorns a few times but I’ve only ever driven. Unfortunately I can’t go next weekend so my son (17) has decided he’s going to drive with his friend.
Unfortunately he only passed his driving test a couple of weeks ago and has never driven on a motorway, I don’t think a trip to/from the West Midlands is the best way to learn to drive motorways.
he says that the club coaches are full, so what I wanted to ask is what’s it like by train? Getting to New Street is easy, but how do you get to the ground? Is it walkable, are there buses or trains? I tried to work it out but couldnt
anyone able to advise?

Another that stands out for me in a cornucopia of away games was Aldershot away on a Tuesday the week before the Forrest games. Carl Shutt scored a brilliant scissors kick about five feet off the ground. A real cracker. There were about 20 of us there. Any of the other 18 still with us??
Yes, we went to those, things I remember other than Carl’s goal, going through the away turnstiles and joining the home fans the other side (with flower beds) walking around the back of the stand to a terrace that took up half of the end, with home fans the other half. There was a cage tunnel in between and a white line painted on the floor about 6 foot from the cage. The coppers warned us if we crossed the line they’d not only throw us out, they’d put us in with the Aldershot fans for a few minutes first!
not sure they did though

Now I’m torn...Saturday at the gate or at Winterfield?

I guess if you’re double jabbed you can feel a lot safer about covid. They should maybe worry about all the other disease he’s bringing to the club and keep away a bit

Doubt she’ll get to Mansfield in time for kick-off though

And they’re gonna do it for nothing

Lampard on his way, Wallies Chelsea connection paying off, John Terry as his assistant and Tammy Abraham signing in the summer

But, if we don’t build up enough of a herd immunity this thing could return in the Autumn

Those knuckle dragging idiots need to take not of what’s happening with masters,
it is an attempt from wael and Staines to silence the truth from coming out but those thick idiots are too stupid to realise what’s happening,
when the ground has gone from under them and they are playing Paulton only then will the realise that wael doesn’t have the clubs best interests at heart
I don’t want ‘em coming here!!!!!

Was browsing the gas forum for giggles and saw the ‘quid a kid’ topic, didn’t read it but assume it’s a thread about the new striker they are signing

Was it the one with strippers?! But they seemed reluctant to come out into a pub full of chanting City boys n gals!
Yes, went up on coach from Plough and Windmill, got there at 5:30, got very messy

My two faves are Gas away FA Cup 1983 and Bradford away League Cup 1989...
Bradford is my favourite too, what was the name of that pub we took over?

Would like Tammy to get his hat trick with an impressive 30 yard drive

I wonder if there's still a contract between Rovers and Bristol Rugby? Would make me chuckle if as a result of losing appeal Rovers go into administration and Bristol Rugby pick Mem up for £1.00

You win some, you lose some.
Through thick and thin I love Bristol City.
Relegation? Give a shit.
