And you sir certainly know about the BERRRRRRISTOL bellow.
You were probably the loudest ever!

Ha ha, as for the “who’s your barber boy” I’m pretty sure I introduced this after seeing something similar on the Mary Whitehouse Experience.
I used to begin it with a shout that again wouldn’t be allowed nowadays :

”Nice hair ya homo!!  Who’s your barber boy”.
    🤣

And I am also pretty certain that it was you and I who introduced the “Garden Shed” song away at Wigan.

@TV Tom - Banbury Red will be able to back me up on a number of those chants which you “weren’t having” last night 🤣

Definitely 'Garden Shed' at Wigan @Harry, with 'floppy haired' Rob?

'B R I S T O L' used to bellow out from B block in the Dolman with a guy called 'Mad Mike' and another geezer, happy times!

Yep, we definitely wouldn't get away with the first bit of 'who's your barber boy?' now.....

The 'Muppet Song' in the EE always used to make me laugh....

As for the others you mentioned in your previous post, either I'm losing my memory really badly or you're just making them up!!

  2. From 0.30 in.....

    Personally, my faves -

My old man, said be a rovers fan.....

If you're standing on a corner, with a blue scarf round your neck....

Who's your barber boy? (for any player with a ridiculous haircut)

    A bellowing 'B R I S T O L'........

(remember the 'Garden Shed' song from Wigan away at old Springfield Park back in the day, seemed to fit perfectly!)....

    Afternoon all,

Martin is my brother, and fought this vile disease with such bravery and determination, I couldn’t be any prouder. City was his life and had a fantastic network of friends who have been incredibly supportive of Martins battle. A stubborn so and so at times and did not let his diagnosis stop him. Martin was given 5 years when diagnosed nearly 12 years ago.

Thank you for the kind messages, they will come as a huge comfort for myself and the family.

So sorry for your loss. RIP Martin.

  4. What happened with proper loud voices and fans wanting to sing their lungs out? Coming back home after games hoarse of voice was a right of passage back in the day. Leading your first song and then the 1-2 sec wait when/whilst others joined in. Bending the back and mammoth exhale from the lungs. Joyous.

Just seen. Apparently a really dirrrty player but they had to sign him as ain’t no other man would consider joining that rabble.

    Etc.

Do the Sagheads think he's bringing his wife Christina with him? Glamour down da Mem, innit?

  6. On R5L this morning, they mentioned Liverpool vs Norwich in the FA Cup. WTAF? The Sags were nailed for this game, weren't they? Just had to beat shitty Norwich and then they'd be taking Anfield over and giving 10% to Liverpool fans. How did that work out sad Sagheads? Hope they're crying salty tears into their half n half scarves.

So now they have a new stand with ‘new seats’ and no one is tempted to sit in it…

Looks like well under 7500 home fans bought tickets so far. Almost all of the south stand tickets still on sale and seats and standing almost everywhere.
Disappointing after all the noise over not being able to get tickets for Norwich.
Would have thought lots more would have been tempted by the new seats, especially as it is warming up.

Their fans aren't developed enough to understand the concept of sitting down.....when they're standing, they can stop dragging their knuckles and use them as stabilisers.

There has been some discussion about naming rights for the new 'stand'.

If anyone knows any big businesses that would like to sponsor the stand I suggest they get in early to avoid the rush.

In honour of the mysterious row M, the 'M shed'? (I'll get my coat.... )

  9. Anyone remember the midday Rovers game at AG that got postponed because of icy steps in the stands and outside, many years ago? The pitch was perfect as I remember.

And not a Rovers fan in sight, before or after. Like rats in drainpipes.

A very happy afternoon on the lash instead!
