Tbh last year played Swansea at home got on the AG3 and everyone was saying we need Nigel out he ain’t got a clue, we all saw him turning a corner this year but he’s not here, want someone else out. Look at Arsenal when Arteta came in and then they stuck with him, I’m not comparing him to Arteta nor was Arsenal going down but the next year,  took the league by storm and growing each year, so giving it time I dunno, we are a mid table/ forever flirting with relegation. Always think we are better than we are and yes we deserve better, but we’re just little Bristol City again

Hat trick today for Tommy

Disappointing season overall, dropped himself out the Scotland u21 squad where he trained with the seniors to make an impression with Manning, his best mate is doing great at Bournemouth but Tommy couldn’t even hit a barn door right now, is he trying to hard? Is he wishing he was where Alex was? Tbh it’s not just Tommy playing badly, most of the players have had stop start seasons in my eyes, but mainly up top has let us down most

I don't want to come across too happy clappy, as yesterday was bad.  But .....

• football is a often game of very fine margins, and that includes many of our matches.  I think we've played 23 games in all competitions under LM and only 3 have been decided by more than one goal (our wins over Watford & Southamption, and defeat to Preston); and
• it's easy to look at the league table and think that victories over Boro and Southampton (plus West Ham and holding Forest over 210 mins) make us world beaters, and then defeats to QPR and Wednesday make us relegation candidates.  But over the last 5 games, QPR and Wednesday have actually picked up more points than either Boro or Southampton (others can hunt around for other form tables if they want - I just chose 5 games because my goto league table - the BBC's - also shows form over the last 5 games).

My conclusion is that things might not be quite as bad as they seem right now, just as they probably weren't quite as good as they might have seemed after the Southampton match.  Boring, I know ....

My first game was against Charlton but I can’t remember what year, possibly very before this game but was early 90s for sure, we lost tho and was at home so def not this game
