Aside from all the emotion surrounding the result yesterday, when Jaap Stam was appointed Reading manager, posters such as @Captain Hindsight predicted they'd be relegated this season, they are currently 3rd...he ain't doing such a bad job?

Most Reading fans thought they were as good as down, but the same lot are now claiming auto promotion is all theirs. Only difference is they've tasted the premier league, we haven't

The talk here is never a pen and we played Reading and the Ref. We had pretty much all the 2nd half but as ever too little to late.Reading knew all the tricks, time wasting etc.

Was exactly that, penalty right in front of me, he was going down already then there was contact... time wasting was awful, but not the worst this year.

One embarrassing supporter at the game, I don't know who he was but really needed to wind it in, I heard f'in faggot, f'in isis at their keeper, a few fans went early and the stone island n goggle hoodies have watched football factory one too many times

deserved a draw, Joe Bryan needs a rest, Tammy needs a rest and support, Mark Little isn't up for it and the holiday inn have someone called Agostinho working for them

Also seems Taylor has a 2 year deal with Rovers with a release clause under £1 million.

Chairman Steve Hamer says that selling leading scorer Matty Taylor during the transfer window is the "last thing" Bristol Rovers are considering.

Newspaper reports have claimed this afternoon that four Championship clubs and Glasgow Rangers are preparing to engage in a 'January transfer war' for Taylor's signature.

Reports claim that Brighton, Cardiff City, QPR and Wolves are preparing to swoop for a player who, the writer claims, has a buy-out clause inserted in his contract that allows him to leave for less than £1million.

Hamer was unwilling to discuss the terms of Taylor's contract, but he did say: "If there is a deal on the table that is good for the football club and good for the player then it is something you have to consider if and when that situation arises.

"But Matty has recently signed a new contract and selling him in the January window is the last thing on our minds at the moment."

Taylor signed a new and improved two-year deal with Rovers in the summer after holding talks with several clubs who were keen to secure his services at a time when he was a free agent.

The striker has continued his prolific run of form over the last two years into the current season in League One and scouts have been flocking to the Memorial Stadium to check on a man who has scored 15 goals in 22 games.

    That's not 10million!!
