Well, we're just get to laugh at them next season as L1 is a lot harder than L2 and they're likely to go straight back down. Unless of course the Bill Gates of the Middle Eastern banking world buys them a brand new squad.

I find it telling that if you google Wael al Qadi and Stephen Lansdown, you get lots of links for SL, notably to Forbes rich list, his worth etc, but for al Qadi, nothing except stuff about his father. Obviously the guy is rich, the kind of wealth most of us can only dream about, but I don't believe he's worth anywhere near as much as SL, or what some of the papers have been reporting.

Wonderfully written Havana, as always. Myself, Mrs Cider, & the little Ciders spent seven years living just outside of Burnley, in fact the littlest one was born there. And although we were glad to return home two years ago, reading that made me quite nostalgic for this perpetually cold, damp and bleak part of our great land. I pray we win today but think we're still too gung-ho for this division and they've a strong team, so 1-1, JoKo to net his second of the season.

Another lesser known fact is that before returning Gods own county, I lived several years just outside of Rochdale, and my daughter was born there. Lovely people, but rather depressing area to live :-( IMHO
