  1. McCrorie - wow. What a player we have and considering how long he's been out as well, how natural he's fitted in. The guy is fantastic and will only get better.
  2. Blinded by the money. Zero sympathy for any of them.
  3. Agree and don't get me wrong, i'm pleased he's joined but the terms seem disapointing (and feels to me like a desperatation signing from us). The difficulty with McCrorie and Twine is that both need time to settle and fit in with the team/tactics/instructions - even tougher for McCrorie given his issues so far he's had to overcome.
  4. Be interesting to see the PL punish one of their crown jewels. Bet there are a few squirming at the potential of having to do that. Unfortunately i can see Man City getting away with it. Which will probably mean the 'smaller' cannon fodder clubs in the PL being punished on far less terms to make a point but not result in relegation.
  5. I don't see our season as over but i also don't see us making the playoffs. I don't think we have the quality at the moment to be a top six side.
  6. I guess perhaps something may have happened last minute to change the terms and City weren't willing to compromise if it meant a financial deal that was bad for us. Perhaps he didn't want to sign perm or wanted personal terms we weren't willing to meet. I can support that if it's the case. If he does well, fits in and improves us attacking wise, then we'll have a better 2nd half of the season.
  7. The outcome of this feels like a bit of a desperation deal from City. Welcome though Scott.
  8. That's what i thought. The way Hinsleburg had written that scentance suggested to me something has/had gone wrong.
  9. What's happened to the TGH deal? Is it off? Have i missed something?
  10. Ah, that wonderful feeling of coming up against a struggling team and just knowing we'll get beaten. Classic Bristol City.
  11. I just had a credit back to my card, so bought it again and this time it's worked. Hope you get yours sorted. Annoying though.
  12. Paid for my ST seat but got an error message saying i need to call the club. Then get a debit confirmation on my Cr Card.
  13. Events this year have shown to me that we are run by classless owners who don't miss an opportunity to disappoint whenever they're presented with a chance to show maturity and professionalism (and god forbid a chance to earn some resepct back from fans). Would it be too much for them to show a small level of appreciation and acknowledge Pearson's time here? Especially at this time of year. No, not surprised at all by the way they continue to behave.
  14. Are we allowed to add 'fans' to the 'rid list'?
  15. Lets not get carried away. Next game we lose, OTIB will resume to normal. Happy Christmas.
  16. If Wells is back, how refreshing would it be to see the Conway/Wells partnership sparkle again today?
  17. When i was in Malia back in 98 i was in a sports bar and there were team photos on the wall of all the big Premier League and European clubs....down in the corner was the team photo, cut out from a newspaper, of the biggest club of them all in front of the Dolman. Thought that was a bit strange to see so far away from home.
  18. Do you remember the old club shop attached to the Williams Stand? So much better in terms of stock and the variety was much better. Appreciate that probably came with larger financial costs which may not have been sustainable. But it was a much better customer experience.
  19. Why do people have to move on if they're still angry at the decision to sack Nigel? (Not a criticism at the OP at all). More because it's been said a few times recently. People are allowed to still voice their concerns about what happened, and the disgraceful way the Lansdowns managed it all. Personally i think it's been a huge step back (so far) in terms of what Nigel and his team were in the process of building whilst having the restrictions they had. I don't see Liam as an improvement over Nigel (yet, but it's still early days) and don't enjoy watching elements of the football that's being played since Liam took over (get the ball, stop, pass back and sideways). It's not entertaining to watch. Perhaps this will change moving forward. I don't support the Lansdown family anymore and believe they are out of order with the way they've managed this whole process (especially the terrible comms and rationale for doing this) as well as being completely out of touch with the fans BUT i can still get behind the team and will give Liam time to change my opinion (after all what choice do i have). I won't be renewing my season ticket though because i'm falling out of love with this club sadly especially after the treatment of Nigel and disrespect shown. Appreciate i'll probably get abuse for this but there you go.
  20. Keeper going down like that highlights everything wrong with this sport. Clearly over doing it and looking to influence the ref. If he'd stayed standing when he was barged, the ref would've probably given the foul for the contact. Keeper fell over like a toddler. Got what he deserved.
  21. The Injured Thread back on the top of the main page will help.
  22. As wind ups go, this is one of the worst and most confusing. What's the point.
  23. God i hope this isn't true. I really wish we could have Pearson back and just pretend the last week didn't happen! I really do wish now that Jon and Steve would sell up and leave. I don't think they really have any understanding of the damage they've caused.
