No you can’t. You’re just some bloke sat at home who doesn’t know anyone at the club but you get a hard on making out you’re in the know It would of most definitely been discussed. Maybe not to the extent of it being serious but the club would have known things weren’t going well and would of been preparing solutions if they had to make a change. Just like any sensible business would If you couldn’t see we were all over the place defensively during that period you need help. You don’t have to be concerning 4 a game for it to be bad. The mistakes we were making were comical. It was 3 weeks off and in that period we still played 15 games. Won only 3. Nige wasn’t completely at fault obviously, but you’re deluded if you don’t think he takes some responsibility. He’s been here 2 years, he’s now responsible for the good and bad.

No you can’t mate. You can only guess and think like me. The place was starting to get toxic and thats usually when managers are soon to get the boot. From the 4th of October up until Boxing Day we’d only won 3 games and been embarrassed by Lincoln in the cup. The football/defending was awful and the pressure was most definitely heating up. If we’d of lost against Millwall and Coventry I genuinely think that would of been the end. Thankfully he turned it around and hopefully that’s finally it now and it’s clicked.

Yeah regardless of what some say on here I think he was skating on thin ice and needed a month like this to get that security back and show the ones in charge he is capable. I’m not getting to carried away with it though because if history is anything to go by, this could just very well be a half decent bit of form and we could lose every game this month. Wouldn’t say it means absolutely nothing. When it’s a top 6 club their fan bases are ridiculous on social media. Obviously the club won’t go on Twitter and see fans are asking for Alex Scott so they’ll buy him, but they are fully aware of the noise around it surrounding certain players. You just have to look at the Mudryk deal recently and how big of a deal chelsea and Shakhtar made of it online. They knew full well how big it was with their fans. If spurs see they have hundreds/thousands of fans begging for Scott, it’ll definitely have some influence. Not huge, but some.

Yeah did see a spurs fan say 10m… they really don’t have a clue. He’ll be our highest ever transfer fee received I’m sure of it. Has to be 20-25 million minimum upfront.

It’s not really anything but Alex Scott hype levels have gone up astronomically after that FA Cup game. I knew others fans were aware of him but it seems after Saturday fans of the top clubs are now admiring him a lot. Spurs fans mostly, practically begging their club on Twitter to sign him, they are very aware he’s a Tottenham fan. Reckon he might just get his dream move, wonder what the likelihood of us getting him back for a season long loan would be if he were to go to one of the big 6…

The weird thing is I liked him in defence. He’d be pretty much man of the match for 99% of the game but then would do something stupid that usually ended up costing us. Just felt like if he cut that out of his game we’d be sorted. However seems to be thriving in the midfield, very often drops in to that central defence spot to receive a ball and get us forward aswell so it’s best of both worlds.

Looked decent whenever I’ve seen him play, however 2 goals in 22 games this season? What’s happened there? Has he been in and out the side much?

Did he play against arsenal in the Europa? Or any of the group games for that matter? Bloody good free signing if so.

Its funny that the 2nd yellow for Blackburns defender was a softer challenge, and probably less contact than the Wells penalty incident. Just seems when we get in the box fouls don't count. Shouldn't matter where it is on the pitch. Anyway, you just know when we do get a penalty it will probably be the softest challenge going, or a handball that wasn't a handball and whoever takes it will sky it over the bar. There is no way we are scoring this penalty, its destined to go viral on twitter after all the media attention we've brought to it.

Semenyo has apparently agreed a 50k pw contract. We know all about Semenyo and we can see the potential. However looking at it from a Bournemouth POV ings would be better. Proven at that level, same amount of money and wages would be near the same. Only thing really Semenyo has is the potential, if he does really well they can sell him on.

Surprised we didn’t take that… especially considering West Ham have got Ings for 12m today. I know if I was a Bournemouth fan who I’d rather they spend that money on out of the 2.

I like Tanner a lot, decent squad player who can hopefully one day make that right back spot his own. Also worth remembering we have Kane Wilson to come back as well, so hopefully between them 2 we have solid competition for a good few yers to come.

This is a tough one, if he goes now I think we're done for. We need him desperately on the pitch, without him our attack looks awful. 15 million though... don't think we can turn that down. Chuck on a possible 25 million for Scott, 40 million, im assuming sorts us right out to actually spend some money in the summer? I pray to god this is finally it, we're starting to turn the corner and Nige is finally getting a tune out of the squad... HOWEVER. I've seen this many times before throughout his time here so im not getting carried away with it. Bit of good form is all this could be. Now that would be the dream move. They don't mess around when it comes to clubs buying their players. They also seem to develop them properly. I like Scott but I don't think he's BVB level.... yet anyway. 18-22 million and I think we'll do alright, obviously with a big ol sell on fee. Just a shame now we're watching and Scott and Semenyo knowing they'll be off soon rather than thinking lets build the squad around them and go for it next season. Them leaving should help the club massively, so we're quite fortunate to have them here. Imagine the future without them... might just give us a chance, should we stay up, to actually start the process of a rebuild properly.

I get the feeling we are just pretty much impossible to buy? We’ve lumped ourself in to Bristol sport so whoever wants to buy us would also have to buy the rugby, basketball and women’s team as well. Along with I’m assuming the stadium and the future redevelopment? Seems a bit weird for Steve to ask for investors, who would want too? If you’ve got that sort of money surely you want to have as much control of what goes on as possible? Not just put millions in to something and let, what has currently been for god knows how long, a club that has failed to achieve anything handle it? The last interview SL had regarding all this, to me anyway, came across like he was coming to an end with everything regarding us and the BS model. Yet some are saying he doesn’t want to lose full control over it? Everything just seems very weird to me. Either sell it all to someone and just become a fan, or continue as you are. If he’s been looking for 2.5 years and there’s still nobody wanting to invest, then there never will be. Sounds like he needs to have a rethink about the way forward. Can’t just hold on to the club if he isn’t 100% committed anymore.
