  1. I’m sorry what are you basing this on exactly? West Brom won’t be relegated. They will sort it out. We’re in VERY big danger of getting relegated. We’ve been dragged right in to it, which is no surprise. I’d say it’s very much 50/50 for us now, so please stop with this foolish “we’ll be safe” because it’s a load of old shit, much like the current team from staff to players.
  2. He won’t walk but it wouldn’t be the worst idea for us to part ways with him after the Watford game if we lose badly. Only if we could bring someone in quickly, that way the new manager will have a kind of “pre season” during the tournament to sort things out.
  3. Hahahaaaaa it’s actually pathetic. From another set piece. What the hell are they doing in training?
  4. Yep it’s starting to show it’s true form now. Scary readings indeed
  5. This always makes me laugh. Jesus wept you can’t be this thick surely. Shouldn’t have to spoon feed you. I never said it’s ALL his fault but funny enough, being a MANAGER means you MANAGE the team. So when things don’t go right, yes the players take some responsibility but so does the MANAGER.
  6. Stop making out like he’s blameless ffs!! It’s his job to manage the team and train the players he has. He’s been here long enough now to atleast have us playing decent football/defensively solid. Less experienced managers with far less money at clubs deemed smaller than ours have had more success in 2 years than Nige has. This excuse of it’s not his fault because he’s had no money is getting tedious now.
  7. That can literally be said of every team in and around us (bar Coventry) the reason teams finish 13th-19th is inconsistency and a bit of luck there are 3 worse teams. There’s no way after watching the last 10/11 games you can sit there comfortably and say “we’ll be fine”. It’s going the same way as last season I’m afraid, let’s hope we get the same amount of luck with those below us again.
  8. VERY lucky to get the point, was an awful performance but did well to see it out in the end. Referee bit of a joke but it’s safe to stay Nige don’t play that team/system again.
  9. Martin playing left wing is a joke. He’s only good for tap ins and headers now. Takes away from the only thing he can offer
  10. Well those subs scream settling for the point. Which I wouldn’t be against if we were decent defensively. Seems whenever we sit in we concede.
  11. Martin and Bell up top now isn’t looking good for us…. Do well to keep it at 1-1
  12. Nice bloke but should have never of got the job and was rightly sacked. The football was no better than it was under Johnson, was literally exactly the same which was to be expected seeing as he was part of the original problem. Everyone else could see it apart from Ashton and the lansdowns. Hopefully he goes on to have a successful career but to dwell on what life would have been like if he’d stayed is weird considering how bad it was. It’s hardly got better all these years on either.

    Naismith

Naismith made mistakes granted but he was Luton’s best defender in a play off finishing team. We can see his quality, he’s a good defender imo and we are A LOT better with him in the team, when he was playing we actually looked some what decent. Now we look like poverty ?. Think he’d be even better with Kalas alongside him.

    Naismith

Yeah they were a lot more open and clear about things when Nige first took over as it was a problem highlighted by the fans we felt left in the dark over certain stuff. End of the day we have the right to know how long our players are out for. If he’s out until after the World Cup just come out and say it. Lifts pressure off the likes of Klose then as we know he’s all we’ve got.
  15. And on the flip side we should be miles ahead of the likes of Luton, Bournemouth, Millwall, Preston and Rotherham. I said it after the Millwall game I think Nige isn’t the man for the job, still stand by that. Even predicted us to beat either WBA or Reading because we are just that inconsistent. We haven’t improved, we just play better in some games. That isn’t improvement, that’s just us being better than the other team on the day. What we seen today is what we’ve seen from day 1 under Nige. Not convinced he’s the guy to rebuild this team in the summer once we lose half the first team. Would love to be wrong but I’d put good money on us having a new manager this time next season.

    Naismith

Sorry if it’s been said and I’ve missed it but I thought Nige said it was a 10 day injury? Jesus wept we need him back in the defence. Don’t rate Klose at all, he can do a job but don’t think he should be starting consecutive games. Be great to see Kalas and Naismith back there, hopefully sometime soon.
  17. Robbie Williams is becoming a bit like Nickelback. People claim to hate him but I bet you all sing his songs when they come on. I don’t care I’ll bast out angels with all the other 55 year old Karen’s. Enjoy your night.

    Bilic

I’d say he was mad to even go there in the first place but if anything it was an incredibly smart move. If he gets sacked it doesn’t dent his reputation and he still gets paid his full wage. Watford are an absolute basket case of a club. Nice to see them and West Brom struggling. Hopefully they no longer take up top 6 places. Gives the likes of us a better chance at least. Norwich next please.
  19. Very dependable tonight, glad to see him back. Hopefully he can keep himself fit up until the break now. Then those few weeks off should come in handy for him.

Cardiff probably. Tbf he was a bad example.

    U21s today

The thing with Massengo is he gives more 5/10 performances than Williams or James. Both of them will probably give you 7/10 most weeks so they are consistent, whereas HNM gives you a 10/10 for one game and goes missing for the next 5 appearances, he’s constantly in and out the team. I’ve no doubt he’ll have a good career after us but I don’t rate him half as much as some do on here. Don’t think we’ll hear much of him once he leaves us, he’ll just be an average player wherever he goes… bit like Eliasson.

    Weimann

Weimann still has a massive part to play this season but you can see he needs a break. You put Sykes there and finally get rid of him at RWB. That’s another massive problem imo, Sykes is much better when we’re attacking, dreadful defensively. I’d try wells and Conway again with Sykes behind and Tanner back in at RB. We also need a change of formation, ridiculous that we have to start from scratch again 3 months in to the season.
