Why try and persuade the police not to investigate? We have a modern stadium covered in CCTV, this is easy. HG just has to give the seat number and game, done. Also I’m sure BS would be able to ask the police to investigate the allegations without the alleged victim making a direct complaint to the police? It’s their gaff and if anything such as this alleged event happened in my house,that I heard from a third party, I’d be straight on the phone.
