BBC website says 19:45 on weds 7-Feb now. -
Key change in the game was Paqueta going off injured. Had he stayed fit I think we would have been well beaten. He is their best player and way above anything you will see in the championship. Once he went off we established a foothold in the game and 2nd half we were excellent.

City players who have scored four or more in a game
The Gambler replied to Lanterne Rouge's topic in Football Chat
Shutt scored his four all in the first half I think. Long time ago and was my first ever mid week game if memory serves me correct. -
Are there any players that have had a premier league appearance and not touched the ball at all?

I too went today. We hired one of the beach huts which certainly kept us warmer than being in the stands… Went with three 6 year olds and a 4 year old to their first game. Thought it was a brilliant first introduction to live football. A really friendly, family atmosphere in a very characterful ground. Two evenly matched teams for the most part but city had that extra bit of class up front in Harrison. Was my first womens game but would definitely go again, especially with young kids.

Results haven’t been great over the past 7/8 games but the performances are much better. The second half of the Cardiff game coupled with the first half of the Luton game are as good as it has been in a long long time. Lots to be happy about but also lots to improve. I have been supporting City since 1986 and this is the first time that we have “rebuilt” in the second tier. Normally we are relegated before we rebuild in tier 3. It is this that gives me hope that if there is forward progress after this rebuild that we might finally become a top championship club and even make the prem. ?

If Newcastle got relegated could they fail the fit and proper ownership test for the EFL and end up in the conference? Or better still without a league to play in unless they changed their owners…

For a professional football team to concede 3 goals in one half to a team from the same division who are down to 10 men is unforgivable. There are no excuses for today. Head coach (even though unfortunately absent) has to be held responsible and should resign.

Just noticed that Gloucestershire are playing a county championship game in Derby that will be on day 3 the Tuesday we are playing Derby County. Cricket ground and football ground appear to both be fairly central. Cracking result for glos today who have a real chance of promotion. Anyone planning to take in both? I reckon I will take in the final session on the Tuesday if the weather is good prior to going to Pride Park

There is only one tube station on the London Underground that contains none of the letters in Mackerel. Can you name that?

Name 5 clubs in the top 4 English divisions whose team name starts and ends in the same letter?
