  1. That's because they were arriving at Luton
  2. Agree with everything you say bar the last bit - I think he is a defender and right side of a back three is ideal. The bit in bold is key. If he can focus and get through games without the lapses in concentration then I think he will improve as he goes on.
  3. I agree with you on the whole but his problems seem to stem from a lack of concentration or at times, composure. I wonder after ~150 pro games and at the age of 24 if this is something he's able to sort out or if he's just going to have these "moments" forever. Jury's out for me. Same for Taylor Moore, but it appears he's finished here.
  4. The emergence of and growing experience gained by some of our younger players: Scott, Semenyo, Benarous being the obvious ones but also with matchday involvement for Bell and Conway. Also the involvement of O'Leary and Pring, despite being a bit older, it's been a breakthrough season for both of them.
  5. We need to play our best team, not our best 11 individuals and for me we play better as a team with MOL between the sticks.
  6. An impressive career. He also played over 100 times for Barnet.
  7. How many players in the past have we released from our youth setup that have gone on to have careers that matches or betters our position at the time?
  8. MOTM for me. Difficult to choose today though!
  9. I agree, but he shows some naivety in his game that needs to be eradicated or he'll never make it at this level - simple things like getting the wrong side of the attacker. Hopefully Pearson's influence will help like it has with some others.
  10. Think there were a few on the pitch. Maybe it was a contribution to the incoming fine.
  11. An inexperienced side. More injuries. Happy enough under the circumstances. Not exactly stellar entertainment though.
  12. Done a much better job at Derby than I thought he would
  13. Must be struggling for Bristolians if 88 year old Johnny Watkins has made the shortlist.
  14. I'm not going Saturday as I've just had a positive lateral flow. The ******* timing of that.
  15. A hard disagree for me, I'm afraid. (For what it's worth, I have no idea what his attitude is like.) In terms of application he is sorely lacking. Last time I saw him play was a 13 minute cameo against Forest. We are 1-0 up and trying(!) to see the game out. KP is the fresh legs and should be the one busting a gut to put the opposition under pressure and he doesn't. He ambled round the pitch and we would have been better off leaving Scott on, who was knackered by that point. It's just one example, sure, and I don't blame him for the loss, there's 11 of them out there after all. But I did not see a player there with desire. I did not see a player there willing to work for his teammates or his own place.
  16. I don't think anyone is claiming they are world beaters, but they are not the hopeless whipping boys that they were expected to be.
  17. I think the food is overpriced in comparison. A Clarks pie is only £2.15
  18. I think his positional discipline has noticeably improved over the last few games. He seemed to have a better understanding last night of when to hold and when to go. He drove us forward with the ball a few times as well. Maybe others were more deserving but I think he did very well last night.
  19. Obviously they couldn't have given people a bit of warning so they could allow extra time to arrive
