Just popped on to gaschat to read what the message from the owner was and noticed that the total membership there is 3,865. OTIB has nearly 5 times as many members (18,638). Whilst we don't eject saggies and they ban anyone not in the groupthink (allegedly) this is still a bit of a difference.

Firstly, thanks very much for the free time given to us by the admins.
Secondly, my opinion is that the fewer subforums there are, the better. This one is called "football chat" and discussions about former players comes under that.

Nor is it on https://sports-10.com/ who've shown the last two City games.
I don't think they list the games they are showing until the day of the game. The Coventry game didn't show until shortly before kickoff.

According to the press cuttings there were more than 7k there in 1992.

"more than" will, no doubt, give them room for exaggeration.

26/12/1998 Watford 1 City 0.
There are parallels with yesterday's game. A popular manager, John Ward had been replaced by Benny Lennartson and we were (mainly) unhappy. Benny never really had a chance to get us going and this game was typical of his time in that we weren't outplayed but just fell short on the day. Benny was keen on youth development and was a big factor in the progress of Jim Brennan.
26/12/2023.
There's enough analysis of yesterday on here already, but clearly we have a different direction of travel. Manning has the chance to build on Pearson's legacy. Lennartson could only try to sticky tape together what he inherited.

Just like to point out that Chris Barrie (Rimmer) is very talented. No resemblance whatsoever.

Yeah, he’s still sacked and everyone’s still crying over an average manager.
Not clever enough to read the first post in the thread? The question was about his health?

The context behind Ayling being moved on was this:

We lost a good player but I don't think the decision to sell Ayling was Johnson's.

You all may remember following the webcam as the Lansdown went up and fondly recall the clear, steady progress as the structure was built and the seats installed. As our friends up north currently lack this, here is an alternative for them

I can't stand the bloke but his name has been dragged through the mud and his reputation ruined for accusations of which he has been found not guilty.
The jury did not find him not guilty.

My memory may be fallible but I am confident that Grimsby had the other end and were not on the side.

Enjoy your weekend too. After 20 odd years on the forum I finally bit at a silly remark. Perhaps you should reflect on your "humour".
