Yeah Barnet had one too as winners of the Bananarama didn't they? Oh hang on.....No they didn't. ...so the Sags definitely didn't have one just because we did then? What's that? No? It was for what????.....For the kids?..... (Ring Ring)....Hello is that Childline? I'd like to report the biggest case of child abuse that this country has ever witnessed?.........

I just mentioned the name Nick Higgs in conversation to a sag the other day and they jumped straight down my throat. Typically touchy. It wasn't even in jest! The problem with Sags is that they are like your kid brother....an absolute pain in the arse who wants everything that you have got and always feel hard done by. Then they kick off because their jealous rage takes over and then when daddy comes along to sort it out they exclaim that "they don't care" and "it was HIS fault not MINE". Hopefully not too long now for social services to come along and have the little runny nosed ****er adopted!

We played like the home team at their place at won at a canter. Now unless they have all swallowed some magic potion that turns a dung heap into a vat of cider then we should get back to winning ways tonight. The odd defeat like Saturday is the odd wake up call that is needed to keep the team on their toes. Step it up City! I'll take 1-0 (Fielding (Pen)).

If you are going to drop points then drop them when no-one else takes advantage. I was moaning a few weeks ago when I felt we would lose top spot. We did, but we have taken advantage recently and have got a slight buffer again. Sheffield United are one of those late blooming teams. I didn't fancy it Saturday, so I checked the result at 5pm and wasn't surprised. If we win the game in hand then things still look lovely jubbly! Re-group and go again.... Our destiny is still firmly in our hands.

Without question we must bring in some quality during the window. Agree with others that Smith is not what we need. We need one or two who know where the net is, and I would like another strong attacking midfielder...but we may only get one player in as Lansdown doesn't like the January transfer window much.

I don't believe it is the end of our season either. Just think that we are not as effective as we have been earlier in the season. Are we too predictable? Are teams working out how to make it difficult for us? Why does Cotts continue to make the same substitutions at the same time week in week out? Other teams are steam rollering and gathering momentum. 3-0 was becoming the norm for us a few weeks back, and now we are winning 1-0 with a late goal. I want to see us win the league so badly, but it would be foolish to ignore what has been happening over the last few weeks with the teams around us. 1 point separates 1st and 4th...It was a 5 point lead at one point. Couldn't be any tighter between automatic promotion and the damn play offs. With our record I wouldn't fancy that route!
