I took my 4 year old to swimming lessons at 9am. Spent majority of the 30 mins checking my phone, working out my accumulator - occasionally giving a 'well done' as she went under a hoop under water and collected a brick etc. Had my shirt on for a quicker getaway when we were done. It was all made worthwhile when the swim instructor - a guy from Reading and we're in Oxfordshire - said "Bristol City? They are a good side now. Top of the league aren't they?" Last season a neutral guy like that would have had zero idea how we were doing. We're getting there, we're coming back......

With all due respect mate, I'm not even 35 and I can remember us top of the league above this one?

I think he should go out on loan and we can call him back if we get a longer injury to the front 2. He's going to be a success and I am a big fan but that 1 on 1 miss to me was down to lack of experience, lack of real match play. Get him out on loan to a L2 side, have him scoring (he'll burn past defenders down there) and then have him come back better for it.

Aye. Had the same convo in the car. If I was heading back to MK I know exactly how they'd be feeling. That second half in particular they were much better than us, took their eye off the ball and conceded a 3rd. Nice to see it go our way and is a sign we are a stronger side mentally now. Though the dons looked a much better side second half if we're honest.

I thought they were better than us if I'm honest.
