Correct. Fans really don't care about belts or money. They want to see the best v the best. Sadly the boxing business and arguably many of the fighters and networks don't see it the same way.

Yep no ones that assed about the Joshua - Miller fight but apparently he’s getting a career high payday for it. Fury’s new deal means he can make big money for fighting any top 20 ranked fighters and Wilder can make 3-5 million dollars fighting punch bags like Brazeale so there’s no incentive for them to take risks.

O no it’s a disaster what’s happened, my point was, I’m sure when Joshua found out wilder fury wasn’t happening he must have been annoyed, as it will be at least a year now till Joshua can get at one of them

as bellew said on radio other day, these 3 could have fought each other for the rest of their careers, and made millions, shame that that probably won’t happen now

Problem is they can all make millions without fighting each other now meaning they probably won’t risk it, I get it from their point of view but it sucks for us boxing fans that just want to see the best fights get made.

  3. Was nice to see a bit of boxing on a Saturday night again even if it wasn’t a great card.

It was so frustrating watching the big cheese just keep walking forward in straight lines eating punches. It reminded me of the Ritson fight when he stepped up to European level and just got outclassed all night. I think Eddie can sometimes rush these fighters on a bit when they’ve still got plenty to learn, I guess he’s desperate for a couple more stars to break through with people like Bellew, Haye, Brook, Khan retiring or looking past it.

I've only ever seen a sanctioning body call for an 'immediate' rematch before. Calling for a 'direct' rematch seems to me to leaving room for it to be within the next couple of fights rather than the NEXT fight.

It makes me wonder if Wilder's team are looking for the AJ fight which, as a unification, would take precedence over a straight WBC title fight.

Cheers, I see what you mean now.

Lots of people saying it might be Joshua - Wilder next I’m excited to see them all fight each other but it seems unfair on Tyson if he doesn’t get to fight either of them next.

    Piss poor undercard really.

Yeah three big names on it but none fighting anyone interesting, I am starting to get a bit more excited for the main event though but still can’t see me staying up or getting up at 4 to watch it.

I can't bring myself to watch any of the build up on IFL, find them both too cringey. I actually like Tyson when he sits down one to one, think he comes across as a decent guy, he just seems to be poorly educated and occasionally says stupid things which land him in hot water, I genuinely think he's a nicer guy than most boxers.

Can't watch when he's in front of an audience though, I find it really embarrassing. It's like watching someone do an awful audition on X-Factor, just can't bare it.

It'll be great if he wins though, even if you don't like the guy, if it means Wilder misses out on fighting AJ and an enormous pay day then that'd be funny.

I’ve ran out of likes but this is 100% how I feel about Fury and this fight too. I think similar about Wilder too I’ve seen interviews with him where he’s not acting up talking like a preacher and shouting bomb squad and he actually comes across alright, almost a bit geeky but much more likeable.
