Not seen tonight’s fight but can’t believe how quick and agile Gorman is, he looks like he should be a basic plodder but has brilliant skill/technique. He’s been calling out Dubois, if that happens it’ll be a great fight, not sure if Warren will allow it though.

Fingers crossed for both of those.

He’ll need to pull out all the stops on the undercard to make it a worthwhile ppv. I heard a while back that Brook would be fighting at the o2 on this date so presume he’ll be on the undercard if he can get a title fight with someone like Hurd that’ll be decent. khan being on would be good too. The Johnson v Beterbiev fight would be great but I think he wants it in Canada.

Unless the big cheese is on the undercard I ain’t buying it.

Yeah I never used to like Whyte but he’s really grown on me because he’s willing to fight anyone, his boxing skills seem to be improving all the time too. I was hoping that he’d fight Ortiz but I’m happy with the Parker fight that’ll be a good scrap.

Really enjoyed these Wednesday night next gen shows always have some cracking fights, it’s good to see young prospects not afraid to fight each other early on too.

Dunno if any of you ever listen to pound for pound podcast but they had a decent tribute to Brendan Ingle and Dean Francis featuring Saniger, Calzaghe and a few others this week.

Yeah exciting times. They’ve said that there’ll be no ppv in the states too just a monthly subscription with no contract so hopefully that means that we’ll just get all the fights on sky sports and not box office, or at least less box office fights

1 Billion Dollar deal for fast Eddie, I know everyone loves to hate him but I’m excited to see what sort of stable he gets together with that war chest. Hopefully results in the best all fighting the best and so much easier to arrange fights when they’re all signed to the same promoter.

I’d like to see the Whyte-Wilder too. Wilder’s a strange one he looks like he could get knocked out by anyone half decent but he could knock anyone out with one punch which should make his fights interesting now as he won’t get away with fighting low ranked fighters anymore.
