Looks like the new commercial director only got the job because he is as obsessed about the gap as all the other sad f*ckers over there ...

Bristol Rovers' new commercial director on the rivalry with Bristol City

'We will look try close that gap a little bit.'

"So I’m really looking forward to hopefully meeting them on the pitch, off the pitch and there’s no reason why we can’t meet with them directly – we will look to try close that gap a little bit.”

An acknowledgement of the GAP. Is he an agent in disguise?

Quite emotional moment seeing Blowers last commentary.

Love TMS but it is not what it was. A lot of the old eccentric characters have gone. Old enough to remember Johnners and remember the "just couldnt get his leg over" moment live. Also Truman, Trevor Bailey and who can forget CMJ (sadly missed). As much as i love Aggers, Vaughan, Tuffers, Geoffrey, Victor i just can not connect with the likes of Ed Smith or Charles Dagnall. I like Simon Mann (not because hes a red) but because he knows his cricket and his passion shines through. Personalities like Blowers was always a part of TMS and him retiring is an enevitable shame. Happy retirement dear old thing. :sad26:

Could someone explain why the statutory records of Terramond Developments Ltd show a mortgage charge, in favour of Lloyds TSB,  still outstanding on land they used to own at Colony Farm, Hortham Lane, Almondsbury, Bristol.

No one would be daft enough to buy a piece of land without first ensuring any previous mortgage was paid off ........  would they ?

    If this is actually true?

Yet more BS from the sags, one of his mates told him LJ was being interviewed and was asked who he'd want in the next round of the cup to which LJ supposedly replied 'someone easy like Rovers'.

literally believe any old BS they are told.

When they come up with these barefaced lies or exaggerations its funny that its always "my mate overheard someone say" or "was down the shop and Bob from the newsagent heard a women near the garage say". Its never them its always from another source like a third party. Never from the poster themselves ;)

One of the most infuriating things about the Gas is that, while most City fans acknowledge we have an idiot element, in my experience Gasheads either refuse to accept they have some right t1ts among their support or just deflect by saying ours are worse. It seems to be a prejudice they've invested everything in.

Anyway, well done the Addicks today!

Every single league club in the country has an idiot element we do i know. If 15ers believe they do not then that justifies their blinkered and complete nonsense view they have about themselves about being somehow unique and above the rest.

As City fans, we've been treated to some excellent laughs over the last couple of days.

The non-stadium debacle is very amusing indeed, but take time to spare a thought for those less fortunate than ourselves.

With relations between R****s and UWE breaking down, prospective new students may never again get the chance to laugh so heartily at the g*s as they did at last year's freshers' fair...

World level of professional that is.

A real belter from a sag on RB earlier was that they should build the new Arena by Temple Meads so it could host football and concerts.

She then went on to say that  'City only got planning permission to redevelop their ground beacuse there are no houses around it'

    Are these jokers for real?

Yes mate they really are for real. They really are!

Hamer had a smile on his face and anybody who has knowledge of how business deals work, should know "don't worry be happy".

The way the Gas do business id rather shove cash under my mattress...a much better return and savvy move i reckon.

And the winner is:- lastminutewinners from asschat for this piece of remarkable insight, something that we all missed.

"I read between the lines in the light of yesterdays news and Hamers conference, he had a smile on his face which suggest's we are now in the driving seat. I do wonder if some of you are not familiar with how business works, if your expecting him to come out and tell you the full story, the ins and outs of every dialogue and transaction, dream on!".

Wow. Yet again another classic case of Gaslogicitis. Honestly why cant they just admit they are being taken as 'c u nexts'
