  1. Maybe Taylor could go 'down the Lamb' and get a round of snake-bites in for them.
  2. A couple of them accept it for what it is and fair play to them. The others seem to forget that the players make their own GIFs and there isn't a 'producer' directing them. Long story short, pay your players what they're worth and don't give them monthly contracts and they might possibly show some interest in staying! Wonder if their kids teams still have to buy their own kit?
  3. Sorry Kid. Virgin is my media provider and it offered me the PPV option without drama. 8 cans, 1 bottle of fizz and 'er indoors fronting the cost of the boxing has made Saturday good value for money compared to the pub.
  4. Approximately what time is the main fight likely to start? Appreciate that depending on the undercard things might be slightly earlier or later. I fancy going to the pub for a bit before watching it, the Doris is unconvinced and reckons that staying in is the answer.
  5. Are you suggesting Wally got an erection whilst admiring his newly purchased erections at the Mem? One more tented structure that day.
  6. He only kept the job because Higgs couldn't afford to sack him when they got relegated.
  7. Sounds like their planned lovely training ground isn't going to be as lovely as Wally. On that Rovers forum they are suggesting a whip round to help pay for it. I will be amazed if they find 100 potential points of donation.
  8. But we already know. Henbury Gas said that UWE wanted to keep 400% of all revenue and the club could only sell tickets to former city fans who mysteriously got injured during a fight the police say didn't happen.
  9. Outstanding. This deserves a thread of its own.
  10. WTF? under 5? Not welcome. Crap view? Yeap! Unless you stand on a fire hazard. I don't imagine the person for the John Lewis Christmas ad is going to be losing any sleep.
  11. Now I'm even more intrigued. Go on, give us a clue.
  12. Ian Holtby, Stadium Manager at Bristol Rovers F C has taken his 'out of office' status update to a new level. I just throw something in Outlook.
  13. Risk, Risk, Risk.... they forgot about the (revenue) streams.... A more modern take on the classic 'ground/team rant from that glorious day when they went non league.
  14. That's how I read it. Also, they won't have a unique market position as they will be in competition with the facilities at Ashton Gate, who will likely be several years forward with their own offering and able to call on a track record of success, in addition to the fact we don't have an external investor expecting a regular return. So we could undercut them on price. Just for a laugh.
  15. Great. Half time at any Bristol City home game. No one with such intellectual prowess would be daft enough to agree to have to visit the enemy AND pay for a ticket to win an Internet argument.
  16. Think it would be very unlikely, they way they are appointing people in executive roles would suggest they are looking to exploit every commercial opportunity they can.
  17. Good news! Just went for a gander at Gaschat, they are having their AGM this evening (the football club, not the forum). Hopefully further tales of cut backs will follow.
  18. Given how clean they are, profit warnings will likely be issued by the major underwriting entities.
