  1. What's the betting Dopey uses the cliche "bad day at the office"in his post match interview.
  2. Down to 10th below those football giants Rochdale and Fleetwood. Championship ready though.
  3. I believe the sags came up with some nebulous stat to help themselves feel better about their miserable existence which was based on the fact they had gone the most homes games in the EFL without failing to score. 25/26 consecutive games at the tented village where they had scored at least one goal. Make that zero consecutive games now.
  4. You only have to peruse your comments to confirm you are indeed a follower of the football club know as Former Bath Based Ex Non League Bristol Rovers.
  5. Sorry boys and girls, can't see anything other than a convincing Brum win by 2 or 3 goals, but I'd be delighted to be proven wrong.
  6. OMG the ref's only gone and sent off a player from the wrong side. #boundtofacethewrathofdopey.
  7. Goes well with either bemused or bewildered or if you want to be really extrvagant all three at once.
  8. Finished 1-1, opportunity for the sags to sell out the Mem come the reply.
  9. 1-1 at Creepy, who have had a man sent off, surprise surprise.
  10. Need at least a point today to prove (including to ourselves) that we have genuine playoff hopes. Can't see it though. 2-1 to BHA I'm afraid.
  11. Anyway tomorrow is their annual humiliating first round FA Cup exit day. I'm given to believe that this year's victorys are Creepy Crawley. When was the last time we played them in the third round or beyond? 1967?
  12. Well don't come on here looking for advice. Last time we lost a league 1 game you were a non league side.
  13. Are you sure about that. I remember looking at the data and seeing only two seasons when they had higher gates than us, once in the fifties and 82/83 as you said. There might be a confusion with the number of times they have finished above us in the league, which is about 12 times.
  14. Did you chose the username seventeen in recognition of the number of years since you finished above us in the league? mind the gap
  15. I remember us playing Blackburn at home on a Saturday night in the late 60s or early 70s. Very rare timing in those dates. It must have been early in the season. We won 1-0.
  16. Exactly. Even if we average 18-20 k per game and with the Kodja money we'll more than likely only just about break even. There are no clubs in the championship which are sustainable without either getting promoted or the owner putting his hand in his pocket big time.
  17. TBF to Stockhausen he's not paid to write about Rovers or their fans, he's paid to write about City and us.
