  1. Bristol Rovers ULTRAS That'll be: Usually Like To Run Away Speedily.
  2. Well if it's god you're referring to that's O.J.G. One John Galley.
  3. Ex Hartlepool and Stevange, 28 year old journeyman signed on a free. The Al Wally revolution at Rovers is taking off. #TickTock
  4. I see Tom Parkes, personally I've never heard of him but according to Wikipedia he's, now was, the mainstay of the sags defence, has turned down a new contract and signed for Leyton Orient. Something not quite ringing true when the world's 6th richest club can't retain the services of a key player, particularly when he signs for a 4th tier club.
  5. "As seen on TV"? Was that the Horror Channel?
  6. Could you be more exact, I don't want to be out and get home to find one of those "we called but you were out" cards lying in the hallway.
  7. Is the big announcement your "star" striker is going to sign for Celtic. Goin be difficult surviving next season with 28 goals taken out the team and a squad with with minimal league 1 experience. In other news also heard that the sags are going to re-announce, for the umpteenth time, an aggrement with UWE. Still no sign of where the money's coming from though. Same old same old.
  8. Just as a matter of interest, we're only about 3 weeks away from the start of preseason training. I believe you have 14 players out of contract, all of which were offered renewals, only one of which has resigned. Are people on your side of the divide not starting to get twitchy?. And if not, why not?
  9. Poor ole #BriistolScum, watching Chris Wood (he's one of our own) win the Golf at Wentworth must have spoilt his Bank Holiday weekend. His TV screen covered in spittle yet again, only days after the Bristol Rugby success.
  10. Surely he should be calling Bristol Rugby #BristolScrum
  11. Nice try Miah. Edward Teach (Blackbeard) was born in 1680, probably in Bristol. The first recorded mention of Fishponds was 1738. Bristol, in 1680 consisted of the old City around Corn St, Welsh Back etc, so if Blackbeard was Bristolian, he almost certainly came from our side of the city, not yours,; so nuh!
  12. You missed the bit about your ridiculous nickname. "Pirates" I ask you. Where did that nonsense come from. You were formed in Purdown for goodness sake. I suppose you could now claim that a large Somali community now leaves close to where you used to play, but apart from that I can't see any connection with Bluebeard, Captain Morgan and Jolly Jack Tar, other than some immature adolescent fantasy.
  13. I liked "fastest rising club in League 1" bit like scum in a bath.
  14. It's interesting that none of the 14 players out of contract has yet resigned. Presumably cogniscent of how wealthy the new owner is, constantly bragged about on slagchat. their agents will be asking for 200 - 300% pay rises. The same will apply to potential new signings who will be looking to relieve Mr Wally of some of his lolly.
  15. This is a serious question. Has anybody from Sagland fronted up and given an in depth interview to Radio Bris about their plans for summer signings and progress on the stadium front?
  16. 5700 days, that's a lot of ticks and a lot of tocks.
  17. Colin's boys getting a doing at Hull, 4-1 down. Oh dear, how sad, never mind.
  18. Don't be unkind. That's the workforce that's going to lay the new car park at the UWE.
  19. I'd go to £8m, with LT and JK you're looking at a possible 30 goals plus between next season.
  20. I expect the Anthropology Students are excited about the new stadium. Instead of spending months digging around to find the bones of our ancient ancestors, they'll be able to just look out the window to study the knuckle dragging Neanderthals waking past outside.
  21. I would prefer that they go up automatically. Imagine if they go up by the playoffs, we'll never hear the end of two Wembley final wins in a row. Plus we'll have to put up with all their Barry in the lead up to the play off final about attendances etc, if they don't go up they'll almost certainly dominate league 2 next year. If they do go up the pressures on Wally to spend big, which will call his bluff. I think they'll struggle in League 1, which in the longer term will be more fun for us.
