We seem to win the ball well and just hold it inside or half and look confused with what to do. Failing that just launch long balls to Tammy and Wilberham in the hope they can maybe do something

TAMMY TAMMY TAMMY WILBERHAM

Did LJ snub a handshake with SC then?

Wasn't the city I've seen this season. Wasn't tackling and winning the ball straight away. Outnumbered totally in midfield, Tammy isolated till Abraham came on and still wasn't getting the delivery he needed. I would of thought LJ would of set up a little different and expected a battering like we got. Balls kept getting played in the air we wasn't winning the headers so why do it. Tomlin goal was class. Shame we couldn't push on it. Last 7 minutes of injury time I saw some glimpses of the attacking outfit we've been this season and Reid was SO unlucky. 4/10 performance for me would of been the same even if we got the draw.

THis stray passing among the back 4 just hoofing it whenever they get it and can't pass it to someone is annoying me.

Hmm, this ain't lookin 'grate' mate, who said there's no smoke without fire?
My girlfriend said the first thing I said to her when she came home from work was that City was winning 2-1 rather then the reason 8 firefighters was outside our house and I almost set it on fire haha

Feeling 2-1 today. Abraham & Patterson goal scorers! I'll be quids up at work if we win work alongside a Leeds fan who owes me £20 and a Forrest fan who I've got the same bet on with today!

Tomlin and Tammy unlucky not to score.

I'm home and trying to dry out and calm down (I live in Sheffield)
11 on 11 we were the better team. That's the crumb of comfort I'm clinging to here. However, we bottled it after the two sendings off- completely lost our heads and I think that's very worrying. Everything that was good in the first half just went out the window at 10 v 10 and we should have had the advantage; we were quicker than them for an hour and passed the ball better. We ran them ragged first half and yet we were blowing out our arses in the last 10
The penalty was as clear as they come and while I appreciate that Tomlin is the designated penalty taker, why the **** wouldn't he give it Tammy? He can only lose from that situation- if he scores so what. If he misses he looks like a**** who's just robbed an 18 year old of a hattrick. O'Neil's sending off was bullshit. HOWEVER you make a tackle like that, on a yellow card, after the ref has just sent a home player off, he's going to even things up
So what was good. Tammy is an absolute beast. It's my first game of the season, I didn't expect him to be so physically dominant. Magnusson is clearly a top quality player, needs to work on his heading but his positioning and awareness are excellent and he's got a great pass on him. O'Dowda was also good, Bryan excellent and Brownhill was also very good first half
The bad. Tomlin is part of the problem here folks. We want everything to go through him, but he just can't keep up with Tammy, COD or even Brownhill or Bryan. Then when he does get the ball he's holding on and holding on because he wants to be the one who plays the killer ball rather than just having the play go through him. Johnson either needs to find a different way to utilise him or bench him from my small viewing sample
Midfield- Pack is too passive in a game like that, that's why O'Neil was having to make the kind of challenges that got him sent off. Pack is great when we have possession and are dominating play, he doesn't influence it enough when we're chasing the ball
Flint- from the sublime to the ridiculous. He's making mistakes and he needs to cut it out
Management- Johnson didn't do enough to influence that game and when he did, he frankly got it wrong. He brought Bobby Reid on to the right wing when Adam Reach was running riot. Bobby then constantly drifted inside, giving Reach so much room and space. It needed a proper winger on there to a) get behind him and b) reduce the space he had. Bobby was either poorly instructed or poorly disciplined
Anyway, rant over. Hopefully some lessons will be learnt and some improvements made. The 1st half needs to be the norm and the 2nd half needs to be learnt from
This is also BANG on the money.

still miffed we didn't give the penalty to Abraham.

Got to disagree with the bad comments about Sheffield. Much prefer it to Leeds who are truly up themselves. By contrast Sheffield is a warm friendly place. My daughter went to Leeds Uni. what made it bearable was going to visit her friends in Sheffield, where she fell in love and has been happy even since. Tra La.
Big Tone take note. Just avoid that pub up the hill from the station. The West Riding constabulary love kettling City in that place.
Been asked to leave 3 pubs now. Luckily found one a stones throw away from the ground

Been to meet the new Girlfriends parents this evening, her Dad being a massive Leeds fan, even had it tattooed in his Lip didn't exactly give me the goodbye I was expecting coming into the 88th minute.

I certainly don't think we've played amazing, we've been getting caught on the Counter Attack way to much, I don't think playing 3 at the back is going to work out if the play is this fast as it has been this game. I feel like we're unprepared in areas. Seemed to have played better since going 2-0 down.

I'm not happy with 3 at the back, although credit to Chesterfield they played well and the top Goal Scorer did pop 2 past us. I like the way we changed to 4-4-2 and if we're going to start playing on the counter attack I'd like to see JET playing attacking mid or even centre mid.
