Yep, I was at Corinthian Casuals in '83 when Millwall turned up.

Was this the start of the long running feud you talk of?

There had always been an air of trouble when City played Millwall, I remember it in the 70's and I've heard stories going right back to the mid 60's, but this was on match days and Millwall's yob element had stronger rivalries with other clubs, so why did it become a long running feud with City in particular?

At the time of the Corinthian Casuals match we'd only played Millwall in 1 season - 81/82 - since '75, so did something notable happen at one of those games in 81/82 to start it off?

Millwall got chased onto the pitch early 70s from east end something very rare for them and think city were always going to be on the hitlist after nogs...

A certain Nicolas Sarkozy, ex-President of France, has been found guilty of two serious corruption offences.

In the first, he was sentenced to three years imprisonment, two of which were suspended, but has appealed and, accordingly, has not set one foot in prison.

In the second, he was sentenced to twelve months prison, which he is currently serving at home.

Must be awful locked up with carla bruni......

Although haven't been great for 4 or 5 years (I'd say more like 6 or 7 because I didnt rate LJ style at all) it was particularly terrible for those 3 or 4 months under Holden where we could barely get out of our own half most matches and in some matches our own penalty box.

Pearson WAS a needed stabilisation the club was desperate for, and although his style at times was not the most easy on the eye we did make steady progress and became a steady Championship club again. He also gave debuts to Conway, Bell, Scott, Pring and massively improved Zak Vyner. It might not have been a good watch at times, but he was certainly what has been needed until his departure whether you like him or not.

Best football for ages was under LJ fact albeit 6 months but miles better than anything else last 8 or 9 years...

We drew a fair few.. maintain we robbed to varying degrees v West Brom, Sunderland and Birmingham.

Shall watch some of these though. The 4 wins came in the final 4 or 5 weeks.

Think we got 26 from the last 25 but 1 from Benny's first 5.

Having said that, the table after the first 5 under Benny..Crewe were 11 points off safety? Yet overhauled us and multiple others.
