  1. I popped into Sainsbury's in Brislington yesterday on my way home from work. I can report that it was quite busy with no sign of abandoned trolleys filled with shopping.

I have a sneaky feeling that the blue few's mass boycott/sabotage might not be gaining any momentum.

I've got to do a shop in sainsburys Brislington tonight, I'm sure it's going to be an amazing experience, and that warm glow inside will not fade :)
  2. Another cracking comment, there are some clever gasheads out there but they must have to hide it from the others in case they get burned as a witch.

BRISTOL ROVERS: Playing budget won't be cut, says chairman Nick Higgs

    :clapping:

Lovely stuff! Cuts right through the bullshit from Higgs that their knuckle-dragging fans are just lapping up. It's all Sainsburys fault innit?

I was thinking this the other day, after I seen the interview with JT, he unbelievable said that the defeat in the high Court would not affect the playing staff at all, and even prior to the court case he said as much it would be a disaster for the club, in every aspect. If your a gas head, how could you ever trust what this man says ever again? A pure class A, clown nick pigs
  3. I'm starting to think now, that it's only a matter of days, that we will hear from the people at the UWE to officially confirm that the land is no longer being made available for a football stadium, and other options are now being considered for its use. The notion of nick higgs still thinking that there will be a chance of keeping the UWE on board, and he has a strong case for an appeal, i just don't think it will wash on them, and that is why i fully expect the UWE to end this charade ASAP.

  4. I love the way higgs is releasing all this load of garbage to the evil post, knowing full well that the Uwe is dead in the water, and is only trying to appease gasheads in the full knowledge that the Uwe project is dead, and saying that yanky doodle dandy is coming to save them from oblivion! The gift will never stop giving, like a golden tit!

  5. I remembered a good while ago, that Steve Lansdown stated, that if someone with the money wanted to come in and invest into bristol city,he would look at it, and if too good to be true, he would step aside. But the fact of it is, there would be a lot of vultures who would want to asset strip the club.

  6. If the figure was 10m, Surely they would have to invest in a new stand, one that could make revenue through out the year, and help pay back there loans. But as others have said, I'm sure the rovers board of directors will have other plans for that money, and probably will not be in the best of the football club, or its fans.
