Fielding off for Cox? Attack I say.
Couldn't be much worse than the first half!

I think we should continue as we are, maybe bring a sub on after 85 minutes or so!

I want to back Cotts, and have done so far, but he needs to recognise when his team and tactics aren't working, and have a plan B. So far he has shown no hint that he has a plan B, and at this level, that is not accepable

From the BBC report:
an attendance of 15,287, boosted by a vociferous travelling contingent, lifted the Cardiff City Stadium atmosphere.
Atmosphere didn't seem great to me, but our fans were certainly more than doing their bit!
They also failed to mention that the attendance was boosted by Gas players.

Thank God Ameobi missed as if he hadn't, judging by some of the posts above, OTIB would have exploded.
I'll take the credit for that - clearly deliberately jinxed him when he came on:
I have a bad feeling about Ameobi coming on!

A point better for us than Cardiff at the start of the game, but once again we dominated but failed to win.

Met up with a friend who's a season ticket holder at Brighton today who was at the game.
Really thinks we won't be in trouble this season, and said we were the best away team he's seen so far, that we genuinely looked dangerous and could so easily have won. We actually went there to try to win the game, unlike many others. (Although, as we all know, we have been competitive in all the matches so far, we need to start converting that to more wins).
Thought the ref was rubbish too. Of course they are all trying to convince themselves it wasn't a penalty, but when they saw the challenge the initial thought was that it was a foul.
He said we had two real standout players - Freeman and Kodjia, who they thought were seriously impressive.

Ha.
Looks like one of them has spat the dummy out over that and started spouting the same tired, boring "we're the most loyalist, loudest fans ever" rubbish. Funny because I know Gasheads who complain the atmosphere at the Mem is often poor and their fans are just as fickle as every other club.
Our fans are much louder and much more supportive than 82s
They don't support they only make noise when they've scored.
Yes their stadium is bigger but it looks like kids Lego from various different toys thrown together and the atmosphere most of the time is terrible I've been told by many shitheads.
Our blackthorn end is louder than any of their stands.HaaHaa, spoken like a true loser!

**** Notts *****! They are a nothing joke of a club, even their near neighbours barely a few hundred yards away think they are irrelevant.
9 hours ago kruger said:They are a nothing club, it's forest who matter around that way. They will never go anywhere accept down. Forest on the other hand got better stadium better set up better fans. County are just a poor excuse and live in their neighbours shadows and will for ever.ummm at the risk of getting hammered, the last couple of lines can be very much applied to us.
It all can.- 6

Disappointing.
2 up after 11 minutes, why didn't we go on to score loads more to improve the goal difference?
Wilbs is old and slow,
Flint can't score
Cotts out.
Got to be happy with that, especially the first half performance.
Freeman and Ayling showing some of last seasons form too, and Kodjia looks exciting.

Kodjia, just wow. How many millions will he go for,
Based on on attempts to buy another striker this summer 8-9m seems to be the going rate.
But only if that leaves you with no cash to pay the players salary.
-
Kodjia faster than Sproule or JCR? Christ he can shift
He's fast and looks to run at defenders when he's got the ball, which is good to see. Too many fast forwards don't seem to like to try it so often, and prefer to try to run on to it.
Keeps defenders in a state of panic!

One team in Bristol coming through clearly!
-
Great start..but any time we come under any pressure we look dodgy at the back.
corrected that for you!
-
HaaHaa, no one voted Wilbs as first scorer in the prediction league. Maybe someone will for the next match!
-
WILBS!!!! We love you!
-
COYR - we're good at late goals!

The pikeys were coming out with "Accrington Stanley? Who are they?" quotes before Saturday's game. Honestly, what goldfish like memories these sags have.....Accrington Stanley members of the football league since 2006.....Bristol Squatting Rovers.....oblivion 2014.....members of the football league since 2015. Bristol Rovers who are they?
Exactly!

typical gas, looking to nick another ground, piece by piece this time:
Lewes FC currently buliding a neat stand which would look nice in place of the tent.Mr Jelf please? and it is dismantable to sell for when we move to the UWE.
We could just steal that. Everyone bring an adjustable spanner to Crawley away.

Life sucks, I just can't keep up this pretense of being happy as Rovers manager any longer...

At least Barnet understand the impressive support the gas have!

So only the manager can turn down/off the music, but this guy can close early. Guess he'd have to leave the music on!
