  1. Seriously you are friggin boring.. out of interest when have you been happier supporting the City in the last 20 or 30 years… assuming that you’re that old? What previous manager should we be aspiring to?
  2. Millwall game live on BEIN Sports in Australia ?
  3. It’s all been a bit flat this year, both on and off the pitch.. but one thing that has been consistently good are our match day threads.. great work JB. ???? 2-0 to us.. we’re going to bounce back.. Happy New Year everybody..
  4. You think we’ll score 5 against West Brom.. Good man ??.. and Merry Xmas
  5. Merry Xmas BT.. living here in Port Douglas. I was also working down at Cairns… at the airport for about 8 years.
  6. Big game for Beale on Thursday up against the canny Lee Johnson… wonder if Ryan Kent will be trying that little bit harder to prove something to both managers ??
  7. It’s tight, no doubt.. although this season after the same number of games we’ve scored 6 more goals and conceded 2 less. Also interesting to see that Readibg have scored 6 less than us and conceded the same amount yet are 1 point off of the top 6. to be on a par with last season after 30 games, we need to pick up 7 more points, score 9 more goals and concede another 22 in our next 8 matches.. hopefully we can better than that?
  8. Great write up again JB… 3-1 to us, we’re better than them. Didn’t we sign John Galley from them back in the day?
  9. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/soccer/i-hope-she-s-still-with-us-socceroo-dedicates-win-to-ill-mother-in-law-20221201-p5c2rc.html The win was especially special for Bailey.. thoughts with him and his family.
  10. More like the equivalent of 23 penalties being awarded against us in a season.. We’re not allowed to have any..
  11. More than good enough for Iran, but Stones and Maguire look a dodgy combination to me.
  12. Well, don’t get me wrong, I hate them and him with a passion, frankly wish they would just fold… but, in fairness he would have sat in a few decent changing rooms over his playing career and have would have been mentored by a few good managers. It’s not just the words that are written it’s also and more importantly the verbal delivery of the message.. with his playing reputation he probably made a few of those ragged gas heads feel about 5 foot 3 tall before they went onto the pitch.. they didn’t do bad. He’s entitled to enjoy this one.
  13. Hmm.. David Fairclough vs Ian Rush.
  14. Agreed, but if we want to sell him on in January (which we probably do) then he needs to be in the shop window. Who will pay £10m plus for a player that can’t hold down a position in the current Bristol City side?
  15. Reading (away) Swansea (home) Both teams currently above us, both teams conceded pretty much the same amount of goals, both teams scored fewer goals than us. So, 6 points? Why not? Even @Top Robin should give us half a chance..although probably not.
  16. Not looking forward to playing them away… oh, hang on..
  17. Play like we did at Blackburn and we’ll win… with the exception of Naismith we will likely field the same team too now that MJ is available. Lot of home pressure on West Brom.. 1-3.
  18. Well if we win and HNM puts in a shift and plays as well as he did against Lurton and Cardiff then I would hope (expect) that he ‘keeps the shirt’ for Birmingham regardless of who else is available…
  19. Should also include Sam Bell… Tinnion mentioned on Robins TV before the Norwich game that in his opinion Sam and Tommy Conway were “at the same level”..
  20. 100% agree, and no one will be hurting more than Kal tight now, bring on the Burnley game. And here’s another positive, how about Brian Tinnions pre match comments where in his opinion he considers Tommy Conway and Sam Bell to be at the same level! Just think about that for the future.. Giddyup!
