  1. Thought Cotts spoke well on RB (For him !!) Made a very good point that we found it easier to defend today as they had majority of possession and meant we had to, and did keep our shape and we wernt caught with players 'out of their slots' as he explained Also thought Ben Hamer spoke really really well - admitting he's not been happy with his form to date and still isn't, but will get there - very down to earth - said he got a bit of luck today - definitely not a player with a bloated ego Liked it - especially after a great performance - Fair play Big. Ben
  2. SPEECH IMPEDIMENT Does NOT follow the lad has learning difficulties (although he may have bless him)
  3. Great Result that tbf - better boost than any signing Big thanks to Ben Hamer who hadn't filled me with any confidence to date - will do him the world of good Well Done Lads - pleased for the 412 dedicated who made the long trip
  4. Hamer with another good save from Albert - Andy Walker on SSN begging him up for a number of saves
  5. Blimey - Lauren Robert's brother started off alright for Swindle hasn't he !
  6. Apologies if been mentioned but I see Gray not in Burnleys squad today Part of an agreement between the clubs or too late to be registered ?
  7. Bradshaw scores for Walsall - increases fervour amongst his suitors no doubt !
  8. SSN saying it's all us - Codger drifts thro Boro defence and powerful shot well saved Going by others listening to Player it sounds less comfortable ?
  9. You go careful over there Fordy - the women there are wild The call them the Norfolk Broads !!!
  10. 'Shocking miss' by BR according to Andy Walker on SSN - keeper saves and Reid blasts rebound over bar - shame C'mon Boys - a result of some kind today would give the squad (and most of us) more boost that a new signing
  11. And starting to feel that Yeovil might fall straight thro L2 Sincerely hope not
  12. Tbf keepy Ashton Gate was stuck in a time warp and Hillsborough is an iconic Ground with loads of history and a cauldron when anywhere near fullish
  13. Agree YS - a experienced central midfielder would be spot on and your point about Barton very valid For what it's worth IMO there are one or two more who I have doubts about at Championship level and but I'll keep those to myself before WW3 breaks out I hope I'm wrong on each of them incl MP and they all make me eat my words as All I want is for the team / club to be sucessful, but I'm not a rose tinted specs wearer either. The players who did so well last year in a league below deserve an opportunity but too much or elongated sentiment will cost us points The club cannot afford to mess up,in the Champ this time round - we have no excuses this time round - a title winning side that needed polishing with some additions and we had the chance to plan our transfer activity before Preston, MK and the relegated prem clubs
  14. Read my post #638 Harry please before you say another 'Sadly though, because he got tackled once he'll be everyone's boo boy' Getting tiresome now tbh
  15. People may just be judging Pack on what they've seen of him , not just today but in his career to date , incl with us in L1 Harry Just a point to ponder Don't think people are judging him on today's performance alone and to infer so is naive Biggest thing for me is zero pace over 5 or 20 yes and you have to be some player to be competitive in a midfield role in Champ to make it without it I enjoy reading your posts but others are entitled to their opinions (There are a number who saw today's game who disagree with a number of your points) the same as you are to yours
  16. We are coming across as somewhat naive - God help us if we get anywhere near the prem circus Seems to have 4 options Run with what we've got Loans Sign players judged as inferior Pay the market rate No one os going to take pity on us !
  17. His usual *****ly self - sounded a bit fed up and throwing some blame in the direction in not being able to integrate new players at this late stage Suggestion from caller earlier that we have been shocked at agents fees Surely we're not that naive about life above L1 ?
  18. How quickly we realise the jump in quality between the divisions and adapt (those up to the task) will define our season Sounds like a reality check Afraid I've never seen enough in Pack to think he may cut it in Championship - looked 'ok' in a very good side at tail end of L1 It won't be the defeat that defines us but how we learn from them ( and quickly) MK seem to have got to grips with it !!
