As a long time City fan, I’m slightly bemused and amused that we’re even registering as a profitable proposition for the knock off kit makers. Having never investigated it, how far down the pyramid do you have to go before they don’t bother?
Most top half Championship clubs appear to be available. Haven't seen any Rotherham, Plymouth etc, but can get City, Leeds, Sheffield Weds, WBA etc. Nothing from below that level though, except Wrexham. I was surprised to see City as one of those available too. Can't imagine the demand is that huge for them!

Bought 22/08, dispatched 26/08 arrived today from China
That's quality. Probably quicker time than it would take them to post one to you if ordered online from the shop at The Gate! Mine were dispatched today, so fingers crossed they won't take too long to arrive.

Was gunna go tonight, but they have now put the prices up by £2. I know it's only £2, but why do they need to do this? All tickets are online, so no more admin costs etc. Just keep the prices as low as possible and try to attract as big a crowd as possible.

Honestly very good, they don’t put the manufacture on them cuz obvious reasons but when you get them it is on there, just ordered the pink GK shirt from there, will post when I receive, £12 can’t go wrong
Brilliant, thanks. Thought that might have been the case. Tempted to get one and see what they're like. If decent then am tempted to get others, like European teams and retro shirts.
How do you know which one to buy though, as there are loads of different ads and prices? Are they different sellers? Just pick one at random? Assume it is the same product?

My little one has a size 3-4 years, and the badge is printed on, not sure if that's because it's a kids one though. Have seen adult ones in the shop with the proper badges.
A copy one, or the proper one from the shop? I'm referring to the knock off ones from China.

It is a cheap knock off. Although it might be better than the real thing.
Yea aware its gunna be cheap, but wouldn't mind having one for just wearing around at home etc and am certainly not forking out the extortionate prices they are charging for the office shite!

Buy on dhgate. Get what you want and delivered in 2 weeks
What are those dhgate ones like? I mean I'm not expecting exceptional quality, but are they decent enough for the price? Also, have had a look on site and most pictures show shirt without manufacturer badge on chest. Do they actually arrive as shown, or do they have the manufacturer on too? Wouldn't want to buy it without, as would definitely look like a cheap knock off.

Does anyone have any experience or sitting in the corner or the South Stand where the rail seats are? When sitting, do the rails offer a restricted view for children? A friend of mine has bought season tickets for Bristol Bears in that block, but wasn't aware that the rail seats were in place. It isn't advertised on the ticketing page and the photo shown online was taken before the rails were installed (bit crafty!). Any advice would be gratefully received, so I can pass over to him. He has an 8 year old child, so worried he may have obstructed view. Obviously that section is not used for standing in the same way that it is for City. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Can I possibly get an early request in for a couple of Mates Rates codes for the Preston game? If anyone doesn't intend using theirs, then I would be very grateful. I understand that the codes are due to be emailed out next Monday (10th July). I do already have a membership, which is also offering £15 tickets for the game, but as I'd like to take the family too then I'll need more tickets. I would ideally like to order 5/6 tickets, so would need 3 mates rates codes ideally. If anyone can help then it will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Other thing is, if you order something from the shop as 'a reward', then do you have to pay for postage to get it delivered too? Hardly a reward if you have to pay £5 postage for some tat you don't really want! Useless system!
-
God, that was stressful! Went on bang on 10am and there were plenty available all over the stadium. By the time I'd then checked a couple of different areas for available seats, they were then showing as nearly all gone! I almost panicked and bought seats in an area I didn't particularly want, as it looked like that or nothing, but then went back in a few mins later and all the other areas had opened up again. I guess everyone went on at the same time and put loads of seats in their basket, but then released them when they decided what they want, so the system caught up again. Anyway, managed to get decent seats in Lansdown Lower in the end, so happy with that.

Can anyone confirm that I will be able to buy tickets for other members tomorrow morning (have been to at least 4 matches this season) as long as that person is linked to my account? When I have ordered tickets before, I have just selected 2 seats and then in the checkout I change 'assign owner' so that each seat has a different member applied. Is there any reason why this wouldn't be any different for this game? I have tried calling the club today, but didn't fancy staying on hold for an hour!
Also, will the system automatically recognise that the other linked member has also attended at least 4 matches, and therefore be eligible to book, even though it was myself who actually purchased the tickets (bought 2 tickets)?

For anyone who thinks it's too expensive, take a look at the prices for Bristol Bears. Home game vs Newcastle (not one of the 'big boys') in a few weeks is £62 for adults in Central Lansdown! So they have to pay those prices every single week, this is just a one-off special event.

Except it's not a Bristol City membership it's a Bristol sport membership
Same thing though really. I don't think there will be anywhere near as many Bears members as City ones, and the ones that are probably won't have much interest in football and not want to go anyway. Anyone can buy a membership, and if anyone plans to attend a few matches a season and would like the priority access for big games then it is a no-brainer to have one.

I hope when general sale comes that it's with a match purchase history.
I don't think it will be to be honest. The best chance of getting a ticket would be to sign up for a membership. Most supporters who attend regular matches (home and away) will likely be a member anyway, as it pays for itself after attending a couple of games, so they are already rewarding those that support the team regularly.

I guess the club got to add ST holders and members together and get the total and assume everyone wants one. Obviously not all ST holders will take their ticket, but you have to believe they will as probably be passed to family or friends.
Whether that total will then allow Bears ST holders to take from the pot I don;t know. But if they do, and they did previously didn't they, then surely there would be none for general sale.
Surely it would be fairer to go to general sale after ST and then members. But to be honest I doubt after the club have satisfied the first two groups if they care who buys the remaining tickets as long as they are sold, and they will be. Its all £££'s
It will be exactly that. ST holders, then members, then general sale. Hence why the club have been promoting the membership ever since the draw was made, trying to get people to sign up for a membership to make an extra £20! There will be around 22k seats available to City fans, so assuming they only let ST holders and members buy 1 ticket each, then there will likely be at least 5k available for general sale.
