  1. Both are BRFC Both play in blue and white Both have “Rovers” in their name Both have local rivals that are (currently) light years ahead of them The only difference appears to be Blackburn have a decent history and have won the premier league whereas the 15ers have only recently managed to achieve league status.
  2. If anybody would know about a new gas stadium, then it would be a Blackburn fan.
  3. Yep, I guarantee they will be saying things like that. ”You can tell we are better because we are a fan owned phoenix club, we might play on the Down’s but we are faithful and true and so are better”
  4. I bet they will still go on about it. 15ers are not the brightest people around, they will keep on and on about 1982 even if they go bust and they’ll justify it by saying that City deserved it by overspending whereas they didn’t deserve it because they had crappy owners. #gaslogic
  5. A Gas acquaintance of mine was moaning like that a few days after the Man U game. ”I see the local news is as biased as ever” he said. While it will never ever happen, does he really think the local news would ignore the 15ers if they beat Man U to reach a cup quarter final? They are always the victims.
  6. “We all know they love to read our forum” And how would you know that unless you were reading our forum? 15ers really are a thick bunch of ****s.
  7. They are counting the number of fingers in their crowd, not the individual inbreds attending.
  8. It could do, but unfortunately they had to buy a puncture repair kit to fix one of their tents.
  9. A whole team would cost £13.20. https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRISTOL-ROVERS-2017-18-SUBBUTEO-TOP-SPIN-TEAM-/182718574476 I can’t see the 15ers transfer budget stretching to afford any of those. They have too many carpets to clean.
  10. Bristol City are plastic? Remind me which of the clubs is owned by a locally born businessman? Which of the clubs moved to Bath for years? Which of the clubs wanted to move to South Gloucestershire?
  11. Any other club I would feel sorry for. But the 15ers have spent 35 years laughing about a club that was in financial ruin. They found it all so hilarious! **** ‘em.
  12. Well there you go then. They are indeed MASSIVE compared to us. In fact that might explain their mythical away attendances as well, if you add up the weight of all the enormous 15ers, then maybe that's why they think they take more away than us.
  13. Perhaps their fan base is bigger? After all they had years of having the best pies, all that fat going into their bellies must have added up over the years.
  14. To be fair to them, the vast majority of Gasheads I know have been nothing but complimentary. Not happy of course but then neither would I be if the tables were turned! One of them couldn’t help banging on about the “biased local media!” though. Yes that’s right, the local media ought to ignore the club that won a quarter final against Manchester United and instead they should concentrate on the club that lost 4-1 on the weekend to Gillingham.
  15. The fact that any of them at all turn up at Chernobyl is pretty impressive. Imagine having to go to the Memorial every home game and also paying for the “pleasure”.
  16. Their website suggests that they charge interest on loans. http://www.ajib.com/en/node/163
  17. I saw that earlier and immediately thought of our 6 fingered neighbours.
  18. If you cut the roof off of a Trabant and replace it with a tent then you have Championship ready transport for all the loyal 15ers.
  19. I thought that their greatest ambition was to be above City. Turns out that all they really want is to be like Yeovil or Burton.
  20. I’m from Frampton Cotterell (out near Yate) originally and that area was always split about equally between City and Gas in the 80s and 90s. I can’t imagine that the Gas have attracted many extra followers out there in the 00s and 10s. Although to be fair I am not sure City have either, seems to be full of Man U, Chelsea and Man City “fans” these days.
  21. You just know that if it happens then the 15ers will be crowing about how their ground is “sold out” every week.
