I am extremely pleased NP is silencing his critics.

He has achieved marvels with so few resources.

But this is nowhere near a side that could survive even for a season in the top flight.

Look at Bournemouth result at weekend, and tonight Notts Forest, who have spent millions and millions.

Steady as she goes should be our motto.  Mid table finish would be fine by me.

Imo, we are unlikely to mount a serious promotion challenge in the next two to three seasons.  We need to go up and stay up.

That sounds good in theory but in practice, quite a lot of sides in this division are much of a muchness and then the teams who get in the playoffs have 1-2 special players who make the difference.  We have to take our opportunity while we can.  Look at Hudds last season vs. this one.  At least if we were battered in the Prem we would have the parachute money to make a more sustainable push

fivethirtyeight have Everton on about a 38% chance of going down. Basically they think Watford and Norwich are as good as gone, and then it is one of the other three. I cropped the next club - Brentford - out as their chance of relegation was just 4%.

Surprised how watford are being written off. They have some very winnable fixtures on paper. Home to all of Everton, Leeds, Burnley and Brentford

Imho their fate is already known:

    • relegation to Lg1
    • start 22/23 season in Lg1 on minus 15 points

thats what you’re bidding for, with a gamble that Derby might still be in the Championship, but that glimmer of hope is disappearing / has disappeared.

Administrators need to provide proof of funds to get through the rest of this season.

Derby must come out of admin ahead of next season, rules are such that you cannot start a season still in admin.

So realistically the best case is do a Bolton? Back-to back relegations, completely new squad and then rebuild in L2

  4. I work in market research.

This is what we would call a voodoo poll.

Problem 1 is that the poll is open to anyone on the internet. You have no way of validating that the people who completed actually support BCFC

Problem 2 is that these polls are easily gamed. Imagine that Bristol Live runs a survey on Scottish independence. An SNP supporter sees it and tweets the link. The result show 95% of Bristolians support Scottish Independence.

The sample size is fine. If I was doing a proper survey, I would probably go for a lower sample size of say 100-200 or it would be very expensive (it would likely be very expensive anyway unless the club was involved and could use their database).

So treat as a bit of fun.
