I agree about keeping possession. But Tanner does miss progressive passes if he looked up and played with more speed. He slows the game down each time by stopping the ball and eventually having to go back as the opposition has time to regroup, unlike Pring who does burst into spaces and looks to play more attacking balls. I know part of this is balance (one up, one stays back), and is tactical, but also you need to have both in your locker. As mentioned, there's a reason Nige looked at getting a new RB in.

He’s 24. He’s not a kid anymore. On the ball he is so slow with decision making and often we lose momentum because of it. He doesn’t make that many runs, doesn’t look at making positive balls forward. I liked Tanner when he first arrived, but I watch a lot of him now and often he is sloppy, slow and ineffective. Clearly that’s why we spent so much on Ross, who will hopefully be a stronger player.

I think it's important to have balance. He had a very good game yesterday, but also was slow for the goal and basically stood still. He has also had some poor performances for us and conceded a few goals he should of easily saved. One swallow doesn't make a summer. In my opinion he's still below average for Championship, but more performances like y'day my opinion will change.

Don't believe he is as effect on his own. He needs to be playing off someone, so he can make runs without being tracked. He hasn't got the same burst of pace anymore, still nippy but not what he once was.

Totally agree. Thought previously he’s been weak, off the pace, not looking full fit. Against Zouma who is a very good player he really held his own. Hopefully kicks on now!

Agree. Both LJ and Ashton need to take blame for that. Always felt Palmer was there as a glamour buy / ego buy. Glamour for Ashton to keep the Chelsea relationship, ego for LJ "I can bring the best of of him".

Few things to remember. - He signed 4 years ago, and joined from playing in League Two. - Palmer had 70 odd Championship appearances when we signed him - Szmodics was likely to become a decent Champ player in time, Palmer was hoped to become a decent Prem player - This is the first Championship season Szmodics has hit double figures - Ambitions that season were play offs, so we wanted the best we could get Can fully understand LJ's decision to prefer Palmer, however I'd personally wasn't sold on signing KP at the time post loan.

No. It's to tease and also to build up content. When launched / announced people will know it's the real account, and if interested in artists will then follow. I've signed up to the mailing list for announcement (from seeing the social media) but I don't need to follow the account which is just teasers. Could be Springstein, could be Doja Cat, both very different audiences.
