Listening to our fans on the radio it's like we are all zombies - "don't wan't LJ here, but club made it obvious he's going nowhere so we just have to get behind the team" hear this all the time, he's sucked all the optimism and life out of our fan base.
with respect, we can complain all we want, there will be no change as there are fans bums on seats at home and away games.

(Slightly over-the-top?) tribute to Pembo (brought on by guilt?) just appeared on the OS. If I was a cynic I'd say the Club was given a nudge to do this by the fans after the insulting "relieved of duties" sentence the other day.
What worries me is that according to the OS posting, the club saw no plans for Pembo going forward .. Ok, but the club sees the other 3 being part of the plans for the future

It's always disappointing to let a 2 nil lead slip away but this is against a top top team. If we do go down I'm pleased we are showing fight and passion like we did today. If we show as much determination like we did today I'm sure we can stay up
Agreed. Congratulations to LJ and the players. Sounds like everyone fought, got stuck in and certainly lots of energy whch I did not believe would happen in looking at the line up. We are now playing game to game for points. I cannot dismiss the fact that we dont have issues as a club and we need better in every department especially if we stay in the championship next year and without Tammy.
I really hope the Management team does not get complacent and that there are changes.

Are we playing well because our potential new manager is watching the game whoever he is ...

He mentioned two criteria for selection this weekend: a team with energy, and a team "I can trust." So the latter covers Wilbs selection. Not sure how O'Neil gets in though.....
He obviously doesn't trust Taylor yet..

Cotterill, Vyner, Bryan, Reid, O'Dowda maybe ?
Agreed. But they had been there in other games. Unless the game strategy is now is to get the ball into Newcastles end at all cost...

Jesus, you're a miserable and joyless lot. He's picked a squad of professional footballers, pretty much in the positions you'd expect. Our two centre forwards are out, so he's brought back Wilbraham, who hasn't let us down before. You don't know how fit or unfit players, but you just can't wait to condemn, can you? I really despair. Can you do nothing but complain, even before the bl**dy match is underway?
Are you smoking something. It was LJ who was going to pick a high energy team .... tell me where the high energy is coming from?

How did Fabian Giefer perform seeing as he was thrown it aty the deep end for his first game?
-
What about joe Jordan til end of season:-
1. He has played for us
2. managed us twice
3. learnt from redknapp since
4. up to speed with modern football since last season
5. has a network of players and football in general
6. knows the technical side of game.
7. would leave strategic direction to ashton
8. would easily tell board they know FA about football
