They do realise that their owner (a certain Tony Bloom) is a REAL Billionaire and not one of those pretendee ones that they have.
He’s an active member of my golf club and played behind my group on Sunday, as is Sammy Nelson.

No, because no one other than the fans of the two teams involved would give a toss but matches at Twickenham will always attract neutrals because it's a great day out.
i seem to remember Quins v Bristol as the 16/17 season opener attracted double the combined attendance the two clubs would usually get for a home match.

Eddie Jones saying Randall is in the mix for the England no.9 shirt already...
I wasn't aware of that but not surprised in the slightest

Dunno. Just think he's very young and in my head we should be thinking top notch at 8,9,10. There have inevitably been a couple of disappointing signings. Stirzaker defintiely one of them, the Lay brothers another 2
Personally I think Harry Randall is already top notch and will continue to improve with premiership exposure, age is just a number and we are lucky to have a player of such class in our starting line up.

I'd like to think we'll keep Jordan Crane but let Jack Lam go. Haining and Crane are good back ups. A back row of Thomas, Luatua and Hughes is as good as any in the Premiership. What we now need is a quality 9...
...and Harry Randall isn't?
I'd be interested to hear who you think may be available and would be an improvement.

Agreed, I had a tenner on a dog which won and when I went to collect she said the bet was void because I put it on too late!! I would of been none the wiser if it lost and would of thrown the ticket away, I was in a no win situation, both situation I have quoted happened in the Bet Fred in Broadmead, miserable bar stewards, (don’t even get me started on the miserable Bet Fred staff at Knowle, luckily there’s a William Hill around the corner)
The only function of the gambling industry is to separate the unworldly and unwise from their money...why would you expect it to treat you fairly?

Anyone think Dopey will end up at Reading?
No, he was binned off because he's a gobshite who publicly slagged off his employers when he failed to get results.
I can't imagine any club would be so hard up they employ him unless they need someone to park the coaching staffs cars.

Amongst my circle of good friends and family members. there are other City supporters, some Rovers supporters and even a couple of Yeovil supporters! We all enjoy the footie banter each weekend though my Rovers-supporting mates are very much down in the dumps right now.
The thing is, I want every professional football club in the West Country to do well. I want to see City, Rovers, Yeovil, Cheltenham, Forest Green, Exeter, Plymouth, Torquay etc ripping up the Championship together. I want to see more meaningful local derbies. I don't want to see any of these clubs fail.
Obviously, I'm not going to get what I want but I wouldn't/couldn't celebrate the demise of any West Country club - even the Rovers!
I'm a watcher of their two main forums, I read the vitriol ridden crap they write about us, I listen to the total nonsense my Rovers supporting brother spouts, I think of their attempts to grab AG and their quite disgraceful plan to turn The Memorial (to the dead of the 1st World War) Ground Into a supermarket, and quite frankly I will laugh myself shitless the day Rovers folds and disappears for ever.

What a classy interview by Michael Zerafa

Yes but I don't think it was a master plan...all pros hit hard and no one takes a few to entice someone else into the ring.
-
It was a final eliminator after all and Zerafa isn't a bum...although perhaps Kell needs to think about his future.

Yes

Been confirmed it's 100% not happening this season. Liked the reply from the RFU where they basically said many of the clubs didn't care before but as 7 of them are in real danger of the drop at the moment they are trying to protect themselves
Self preservation being a very strong instinct!
Bristols excellent start to the season when they should have won at least one more game possibly two and Worcester and Newcastle improvement in the last two seasons really has complicated things for the bigger boys...every one other than Exeter and Saracens really are vulnerable because there's no nailed on bottom three.

The article I saw that suggested an expansion said they’d get rid of a cup competition to compensate. I think. I’ll try and find it.
Thx

Did they ever decide about expanding the league to 14 and remove relegation or is it still as is for time being?
The problem is that would mean 4 more weekend fixtures and the calendar is already chocca...I think expanding to 13 is just about doable and would enable the thirteenth shareholder, London Irish, to join a ring fenced Premiership.

I often wonder if we should adopt them as our development partners, we could lend them our promising juniors and squad players who can’t make the team sheet even on the bench, they could use last seasons away kit, we could loan them the LWB Transit van for away matches and let them sell off our out of date snacks with their fake Fanta...and as Red Army 75 suggests we could give them a charity game at Ashton Gate during the summer.
