There have been some great goalkeeper names over the years - Perry Digweed and Les Fridge spring to mind
Steve D`eath, played for Reading for years.

Yep, but he’s been on the bench for the last four, Foderingham has got back in, so appears to be out of favour already.
The other thing is that if they do buy him then at least another English Championship club will get the money and it won`t all fly out of the English game. Sunderland will spend it, hopefully on someone else from the EFL.

A slightly better game but still not exactly a feast of entertainment.

Theres no doubt in my mind that the new owners had no intention of signing JCH, and the paperwork thing is just a terrible cover up.
Without a doubt it was. Posh and the player must have known this too hence neither kicking up too much of a fuss.
All pre-arranged IMO.

I cannot listen to Gary Weaver. He would be better off commentating on the NFL…
So dramatic.
Isn`t he just? `The dream of winning it all, the terror of losing it all`. It`s a football match FFS!

Well, that`s two hours of my life I won`t get back. On to Baggies & Saints - hopefully they can entertain us a bit more.

First leg games are often cagy but this is awful.

Carrow Road looking very yellow in the sunshine.

September 2015 but lurked for a good while before that.
It seems like a lot longer TBH.

MK now need to score five to take it to ET
No, me neither!

How did Dean get away without a red there. A clear stamp on the Crawley player.

MK Dons 0-1 Crawley - more idiocy playing out from the back, why do teams persist with it
Because Pep..............................................

1-0 Crawley. If MK turn this around now it`ll be some story!

I'm guessing Luton will be putting most of the money towards the new stadium?
They were aiming to build it anyway irrespective of promotion so presumably had the necessary finance but obviously this season will have made things a lot easier and could well save a shedload of interest!

You'll be fine, they are a paid up member, so at least you'll get a fee for him.
He might wind down his contract though and go on a free. We should get compo though as he is club developed.

When you look at the league for next season there don`t look to be too many `easy` games:
Burnley, Blades, Luton, three from Saints/Norwich/Leeds/Baggies, Sunderland, Boro, Cov, Stoke, PNE, Argyle, Swans, Cardiff, Pompey, Derby, Bolton/Oxford, Watford, QPR, Owls, Hull, Millwall, Blackburn and us.
Looks pretty strong and scary to me!

I'm going to a night of Somerset songs this evening - so I'm not quite sure what to expect.
I suspect it will involve an accordion.......................................

Shef Utd have been embarrassing. Burnley showed some fight. Luton have surprised the most as we all thought they be relegated by match week 3! Funny thing about that is I can see Shef Utd doing the best out of the three of them next season.
I do think all three of them recruited last summer with an eye on being back in the championship next season. Ross Barkley has proved he is capable of playing at this level still. Can see him being back at Everton next season. I don’t think anyone will be queuing up to sign many others from them though. Doughty maybe if someone is after a left back/wing back.
@Davefevssays `Is Cauley Woodrow worth a shout?`......................................................

They are the weakest trio of the yo yo parachute teams. I can see strengthening Champ teams like Coventry, Boro taking advantage next season
I do feel that it will be Boro`s time sometime soon. So many seasons of close but no cigar they will surely get it right one season.

After losing at Spurs today. It also looks as if Luton will follow so all three promoted sides are straight back down.
And the merry-go-round goes on and on.

We should be able to see it again tonight all being well.

Didn`t we play AZ67 or FC Twente in a friendly a few years back?

We should. And even more so if the three relegated clubs go straight back up regularly.
