  1. It is sad the way kids are treated but I also think parents need to take some responsibility, some fill there heads with unicorns and rainbows, joining this academy and this will happen if you try hard enough. Very few make it as we know. There was a programme on tele, had to be 10 years ago about Chelsea academy, there must been 200 kids in the academy and they asked the coach how many would play a premier league game, about  2 was the answer and a dozen or so at lower league if lucky.

I thought I'd seen some great strikers, but Haaland's propensity to be in "the right place at the right time" is second to none.

Absolutely. I hear people saying he only scores easy tap in’s, if that’s the case why arnt more strikers on 45 goals already this season. The guy’s vision, forward thinking and awareness is sublime.

I don’t like to put players in to categories like Ronaldo, Messi, Djemba-Djemba, Diony ? etc but he has the makings to break all records in the next 16-18 years.

    Yep.

It should only be the captain who can approach the referee IMO.

Any other player starts questioning / arguing / abusing, then that should be an instant yellow card.

Agreed but it should be a red card and a 2 game ban. Harsh? Yes, but it would stop it.

Chelsea needed a proven manager with an impressive CV - Potter did not qualify in that regard. That’s what I meant by the job being too big for him.

Going to Leicester would be a suitable club for Potter.

As soon as the owners start buying in top players on stupid money on daft contracts that was it for him, no manager can survive that especially at a basket club like Chelsea. They should have never sacked TT in my opinion. Potter will probably go to Leicester and hope he succeeds.
