I was trying to get my two young kids back to the car so was only glancing over, but it appeared a group of 6-8 Forest fans hit a City fan and then when 2 other City fans tried to intervene they were laid out on the road. It was a good half hour after the full time whistle but I did see a police van approaching. Hope the City fans are OK and left a sour taste after what was already a very painful evening.

I hope your kids are OK. My daughter has just got back to city after the Swansea nonsense 2 years ago. She has always had anxiety but these things can scar young people

Following on from the thread about best ever away games, what are your worst away days following City?

for most of us of a certain age it will no doubt be May 2nd 1990 but what others?

For me the second worst was Walsall in the playoffs.

Wycombe away. Like water polo. Can't believe it wasn't cancelled.

It would be a great idea if people could be trusted not to be arseholes

People will drink enough to be arseholes anyway. Went to the rugby with my daughter last night.  Her first visit since the Swansea nonsense caused her panic attack.

I agree it makes sense to separate. If anything, to bring focus to their game, rathe than it being drowned and falling to the bottom of the page in minutes.

My son plays for West Brom in the National Powerchair Football League. They receive direct support from the club and wear their shirts and use their training facility. Do I expect them to be discussed on West Brom's forum? Not really.

True but if the thread title is clear and someone felt like discussing it then I would imagine you wouldn't want the post shot down by those who are not interested?

I feel its a valid point & suggestion, a lot of pork on Otib tonight

You're not alone in thinking this either as every thread seems to be derailed by someone saying something similar... I just feel if it is titled clearly surely it's easier to not read it rather than wasting your time and effort saying what seems to come up every time?
